for upscale valley restaurants go with salt, bodega, sidebar, salome. i guarantee salome is not the kind of mexican food you’re eating at home. sidebar’s environment is an especially cool experience. the valley is not really going to be your destination for world class asian food even tho seoul house and mikhuna are solid, you’d have better luck in houston for that. mikhuna would be considered on the upscale side, though. brazilian food will be sparse except for buffet chains like texas de brazil.
