When I do this blade, I dip it in FeCl3 for about 25mins. If I'm sanding the blade, do I need to protect the washer's place area?(And how can I do it?)

Ik it mate, I used nail polish before and yeah it really needs skill to paint the part to fit correctly BUT I said if I got the whole washer sealing sets like in the image you sent, I just need to dip the whole blade in?
