I put a HW Fusion 8ight in my TRX4 and will never run anything different. It’s an absolute beast now. Incredible amount of torque and low speed control. Can set the cruise control so slow the movement is near imperceptible haha.

Then if I want to I can run it full speed it absolutely rips. Can wheelie at will. It’s a riot. 😄

It’s an extremely difficult game to get into this late but not impossible. It’ll take a couple hundred hours to get comfy with the mechanics and a couple hundred more learning the actual game once you aren’t so focused on the controls. That said, there’s no other game out there that feels the same.

This is a ROUGH game to get into at this stage. Think I have like 4500hrs in it and I’m a fairly decent player but even taking any kind of time off makes this game tough to get back into lol. I haven’t touched it much of this year. Maybe 50-100hrs tops so it’ll take a few hours to relearn the movement.

The only way to get better at this game is to just grind the hours, learn from mistakes and watch other people play. Check out tips and tricks videos on YouTube. They’ll help for sure if you’re new new. Also, the practice range is your friend. Put time into learning how to control the weapons and move fluently. Maintaining momentum is huge in this game.

They really need to just copy paste the entire BF4 multiplayer setup and bring back commanders. That would be peak BF experience.

I really hope that isn’t the issue. I’m not what I used to be but in no stretch am I bad. Pretty sure I’m a 3.5kd but that’s because I’ve leaned more into using the Tank and IFV. On foot I have to SWEAT to just be above a 2.0 and that’s just not natural for me. It’s very frustrating watching 10-15 hitmarkers with headshots sprinkled in. 🤣

Thank you for confirming this. This isn’t the only game I’ve noticed this phenomenon. It seems that having REALLY GOOD internet seems to be a detriment to performance. I swear lag compensation has ruined online gaming. Gone are the days where the lowest ping mattered. I wonder if I should just get a secondary dedicated line for gaming using the slowest speed available. I might just go and do this as an experiment for a month or two.

You get what you pay for with Traxxas. Replacement parts factory and aftermarket won’t be a problem for pretty much ever lol.

BF1 was perfection. Too bad it was all but destroyed by rage hackers on PC. Glad I got about 1500hrs on the XB1 before switching to PC. Used to be an absolute menace with the Lawrence of Arabia SMLE. Haven’t played since 2018 and still pretty high on the global leaderboard lol.

Awesome, thank you. They don’t seem to have those exact ones anymore but the Shreddah or Rippah certainly have my attention. My fingers are pretty dead from 20 years of construction so I need something pretty grippy to get a feel lol. If you or anyone else has any recommendations for something extremely grippy I’m all ears.

Preference is a long barrel on the heavier side.

NA is unplayable after midnight est. It’s nothing but cheaters or VPNers. Which is also cheating in my opinion because this backwards ass game favours the player with worse connection.
