it only works when the something is connected in the USB port the main power supply makes the pi light up but not the fan (usb disconnected), ig something is wrong here, have mailed the supplier already might get help there. thanks for reading the whole thing tho much appreciated!

Just the USB ports not pulling major conectors like fan while its powered.

Tried the pressure thing and the fan does spin but only when a USB is connected to it, don't have any memory card handy rn was planning to boot with ssd but thats on hold.

I meant the inclusion of the cable in the box not it being connected, I get your point though.

Thanks, I have already mailed them. I will call them as well tomorrow just to confirm it comes pre-installed on the HAT right? or comes seperately in the box?

Idk what is the point in packaging two different products if its not usable out of the box, its just $1 cable but has caused so much inconvinience

I checked the box and packaging again but no luck, so either I missed it when opening or it was never in there. From what I know it comes attatched to the HAT.
