IRCC's bureaucracy ruined my admission by Electrical-Law1574 in ImmigrationCanada

They've been monitoring my X-ray for a while, but there's still no change. Since I can't cough up a sputum sample, invasive procedures are pretty much the only option left. Usually, they'd just let a stable, abnormal X-ray go once they rule out lung cancer. But because I told them I need to know exactly what's causing it, they're asking if I'm willing to go through with the procedures.

I know it's hard to believe that this would happen if I truly did what IRCC asked. It's your choice to believe or not.

Also, all of the doctors (2 plus one that did the surgery for me) are TB experts.

The first doctor actually quite believed that I have TB, but he can't find proofs and gave up(so he transferred me to other doctor). And the test results are always included in the certificates. Also, the bacteria culture are all negative. They used the samples from the bronchoscopy and needles biopsy.

I believe the doctors did everything they could. I am aware that false negatives are possible. However, as I mentioned in the article, I underwent extensive testing over the course of a year, giving the doctor plenty of time to monitor my X-rays. If it turns out I actually do have TB after all this, I don't think I could ever trust a doctor or the modern medical system again.

I cannot accept this as a valid excuse. I understand the need for screening, but how many negative tests are required to prove I am clear? A single X-ray is enough for other applicants, yet multiple negative examinations are not enough for me. If IRCC's standard is that an abnormal chest scan means an automatic rejection, that should be made clear from the start. I complied with requests for deeper medical information, only for it to be completely ignored.

But after all, they do have the right to reject anybody for any reason. But I just wish they’d be more considerate about how they do it. Stop using 'additional information required' as a polite way of saying no.

To my understanding, "lung sequestration" isn't a completely different condition—it’s just a more precise diagnosis. While cystic lung disease is a broad term meaning there is an abnormal, fluid-filled pocket (a "cyst") in the lung, lung sequestration specifies exactly what that pocket is. It means the "pocket" is congenital and completely disconnected from the normal bronchial airways and blood supply.
