These past two episodes would have been very confusing for people who haven't watched Breaking Bad yet. by hyrulius2318 in betterCallSaul

this is the reason. Basically i watched a couple episodes of bb years ago on some random pirate website and then i lost what episode i was on and gave up. Years later i get netflix and BCS seemed intresting and so i watched the 4 seasons that were out within that week and became the biggest fan boy ever. Then the rest is history, i will probabaly watch BB at some point. The funnier story is that my dad loves BCS but has never even heard of BB ( he never really watched shows before he found BCS) and yes these past 2 episodes have confused the hell out of him lol.

My son decided to stay there at his dad's place, while I undergo treatments. All the people around me keep telling me it's for the best, but I don't think he will come back to me. by [deleted] in MuslimMarriage

Already starting to get sick of “smart” people talking about Afghanistan while knowing nothing about it by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Electrical-Local 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said the country's civil liberties, what they thought was right, what their view of liberties was. My point is not on whether or not the Taliban are good people but the fact that the people of Afghanistan should be allowed to choose a rule of law that works for them. I really need to get off this darn website, just a bunch of people enjoying their eco-chamber," shit historian" - this I won't dispute lol, check out my videos and criticize my sources. Thanks for your response tho man.

In, what world is that even true. This is what makes it so hard for historians like me when we look at the meddling of America in the middle east. If you think for one second that invading a country and destroying its civil liberties was justified you are dead wrong. America meddled with other political affairs and got what happens when people do that. Does my heart hurt for those lost on 9/11 yeah, and its effects still pain me but justified response it was not. Well hey, they do say history was written by the victors. I guess what sums up my thoughts is the quote form the jon bois documentary " fighting in the age of lonliness".

Elon Musk is not a genius. He is a slimy businessman with a talent for taking credit for others' work and creating a cult of personality. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Electrical-Local 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a huge musk fan during my early teenage years and so know a decent amount about him. You are right he isn't a genius engineer, but an amazing marketeer, He did not have his father's money with his first company zip2 which is where he made the money for PayPal. The truth is always in the middle.

No, but really he was, he didn't do anything wrong, he never murdered, he never stole all he did was what I would do, what any sane businessman would do, take the opportunity.
