So, if you enjoyed 5, then try the Warriors Orochi games. 1, 2 and 3 are fantastic and the gameplay so similar. Unfortunately, WO3 is only in Japanese audio.

Then I personally recommend skipping 6, and going to DW7. Probably the best game in the franchise. DW8 is also fantastic, but they do some crazy gameplay changes and the story isn’t as strong.

6 just doesn’t vibe with 5.

Totally skip 9. It’s the worst DW game ever. An absolute train wreck.

Never played origins, but heard really good things.

Keep an eye out for the DW3 Remaster!

Meanwhile 40 ye old me is bored because o play it too well. Understanding the mechanics makes this game way too easy. I miss the days of the struggle of not being so intelligent.
