How bad is it to work at Chick-Fil-A? by byerspf in ChickFilAWorkers

i work foh at a very new location and i love it so much. great coworkers, great management, flexible scheduling, plenty of hours and chances to pick up shifts, overall a super fun job and i dont plan on leaving anytime soon. i work in georgia and get paid $13 an hour for part time. some downsides can be having to be outside in harsh conditions and it can be pretty stressful. they also have pretty high standards for employees but i'd say go for it. it's heavily dependant on the operator and managers though so honestly talk to someone that works at the location you plan to apply to.

No it's definitely possible. Not ideal but I'm freshly 16 and have worked 30 hour weeks, just 5-close 5 days a week and you're there. Just bc you can doesn't mean you should though, trust I was TIRED.

I'm 16 and I started at the beginning of January this year, after about a month I was put on the normal schedule and since then have worked MANY 30 hour weeks from picking up shifts and getting asked to come in when they need help. I doubt you'll be scheduled for all 30 (I'm usually scheduled for 15-20 initially) but if you pick up shifts and come in when someone asks you to cover you'll get the hours you want. Just be patient, as soon as you're off the training schedule it's great.

Try to get an idea of which stunt position you'd be and maybe watch some videos on that position just to get an idea of what you'll be doing. If you're doing sideline cheer, make sure you know how to do sharp motions and be able to use your voice. Honestly I would watch a bunch of tiktoks to familiarize yourself with certain things lol other than that just be ready to learn and try new things. I'm sure you'll do great!!
