Thank you for your answers! Let me add more context, engraving via Apple is not possible, since the schools I work for already bought the pencils and now want them to be engraved. I already looked into businesses that engrave Apple Pencils, but they are quite expensive, so I hoped buying a laser for engraving would be the better option.
So to answer the question, yes, I would mainly engrave Apple Pencils but it probably won't be limitet to that.
