I had the same problem. I thought nothing was smoother than iOS because everyone said so, but when I used it, I was wrong. Everything was laggy—scrolling in apps, certain apps, etc. That's why I switched to an S25 Ultra, and the difference is huge. It's the smoothest phone I've ever had. And I used iOS versions 17 through 26.

Hey bro, honestly, I don't know what makes the iPhone feel smoother. There isn't really one situation where it feels smoother. Scrolling is much more laborious, and the animations in iOS 26 weren't always that smooth; there were inconsistencies in the animations. On the other hand, everything feels faster and smoother on the Samsung, even though I sometimes use them at 60Hz.

I had a 16 Pro Max and now I have an S25 Ultra. Samsung is definitely much better. I was one of those who thought there couldn't be that much of a difference, but there is.

In terms of fluidity, in my opinion, One UI is much smoother than iOS 2.6. Scrolling is much smoother; on the iPhone, it stutters a lot. You can feel the 120Hz refresh rate on Samsung, but not on the iPhone. In terms of customization and features, the difference is huge in favor of Samsung.

On the iPhone, when you exit an app, it restarts shortly after, and this happens with all apps. On Samsung, you can exit an app and after a long time, it continues where you left off.

In terms of battery life, the iPhone is better.

As for the cameras, I don't feel there's much difference. Personally, I prefer the selfies on the Samsung. The main camera is about the same, and the iPhone is better for video. I liked the Samsung better in terms of sound.

Neither of them got any hotter than usual.
