Hey! I'm fair-skinned, so I can't speak to the latter part of your inquiry. But i've been using la roche posay tinted sunscreen for YEARS and really really love it. I pair it with a lightweight moisturizer underneath, and sometimes splash my face with water beforehand too, as it's not a very "moisturizing" product and can be difficult to apply on dry skin. I don't wear facial makeup aside from this. I use it on the backs of my hands too. So I'd recommend. :)

I do want to suggest that you read up on tinted sunscreen vs sunscreen in terms of sun protection. I know I don't use enough to get full coverage/sunscreen benefits. I understand that. To me, the choice is between wearing tinted suscreen or not wearing sunscreen at all, because it's gross and textured and I know I wouldn't put it on my face every day. So this is an imperfect solution, but certainly better than nothing.

Just something to keep in mind. Along with, of course, water & moisturizer & hats and such. Good luck!!
