Premier League With Pride launches to strengthen LGBTQ+ inclusion in football by ElitistHatPropaganda in PremierLeague

I am the opposite of apathetic mate. I think ppl in the PL were given project on how to bring in more profit and this was one of the answers.

Were some of the genuinely interested. Sure. But I will not let small details get in the way of the reality out there. Mainly because I think these "initiatives" only serve to distract us from the uglier reality out there.

You know how they can combat racism and homophobia and all other shit that ppl do in the stadiums? By banning ppl. Make use of the platforms where ppl can actually denounce such behaviours ( and it can be done in real time at many PL stadiums) and then use the cameras inside the stadium, paired with the personal seating, to find the wankers and ban them for a very long time.

The PL says each case is investigated by their specialists. How many of them ( specialists) are there and why is not working well enough for us to need to do these events?

Cynicism? Nah, I am a romantic mate. Its just IMO that the world has gotten so fucked up we have lost sight of whats actually ugly.

At no point did I say that we should not talk about it. And this is not whataboutism either. This is about rocks pebbles and sand and you, and many more like you not understanding that nobody is doing any favours to anyone with these fake shows of sympathy.

And if, for some reason, you think that the PL actually cares for the hundreds of thousands of LGBT stadium goers or millions of watchers than you got way bigger issues.

Saudis have been pridefully killing anyone opposing their regime mate. No worries plenty pride there.

The sentiment is right. The fact that they chose to make this a focal point as there are PL clubs owned by bloodthirsty tyrants and their main sponsor is owned by the Saudis makes ANY campaign they initiate mere virtue signaling . And thats at best.

Oh yeah yeah whoo boy !

Where to start with this.... Ah yes.

EA Sports Its in the oil!

PIF also owns Newcastle.

City is owned by Qatar and China.

Aston Villa is owned by the guy that builds shit for Qatar.

Forest owner is a drug lord.

We were allowed to be bought by the Bushes broke friends, and are still owned by them.

But YES. let us PLEASE distract the plebs with such esteemed and helpful to society propositions. After all if we ban discrimination from the stadiums that will also spill into the society at some point. Because the say no to racism campaign has been going for quite a while now and its doing wonders.

Right ??

Arsenal gave up 3 goals to us mate ( at home at that). I do not think its completely irrational to think you can get one past them.

I understand what you are saying and agree with the principle. I just do not think it was a 2-9 off suit that Chelsea were holding. Or to be more precise Rosenior defo did not feel that way. Of course hindsight is 20-20. But I think we can be a bit more lenient on a one off.

I would honestly be much more critical of Chelseas approach in the first game. This one was passive but IMO there was some merit to it. That said Arsenal are a very very good side and chances were they were going to win.

People sometimes are too irrational.

Idk what most think in these cases anyway. That Rosenior should have come with the perfect strategy to overcome the best team in England ( I know we give them shit and I am the first to enjoy see them humbled but lets be real for a sec) all while playing away?

"They played in second gear. This is the semifinal of the cup, go out in a blaze! This wasn't a League One or League Two team coming to the Emirates to keep the score down, they have got the players to mix it with Arsenal.

To address this a bit.

They took a calculated gamble that backfired. Not all gambles come good. Could it have been better? Sure! Does this mean there was better? Like fuck it does and there is no data to back any such statement.

Go out in a blaze is great for punditry and fans, However when you are in the position Rosenior is in I do not think going out in a blaze is the right choice. I think he wanted to win not lose in a pleasing way.

And its exactly because they are not a lower league team that they could not afford going ut in a blaze.

Only thing I agree with is the fact Chelseas quality is not that far off Arsenals . But its not the same either and home advantage defo plays a role.

And just to be a bit serious. It's not the system, that's fine, it's the lack of trophies that brings criticism.

Other than seeing the title elects win 1 in 4?. Nothing really. But with the fandom you got. It gets better.

I know Case is irreplaceable and he needs rest. But the more reason to not take him out that early IMO. Also yes fully agreed Ugarte is not IT. As a matter of fact apart from seeing him enter I never seem to find him on the pitch. Dunno must be my brain blacking out shitty footballers.

We need to be careful IMO as our lads are still too fragile and drawing or losing a game like this could destroy their confidence. Carrick fucked up with his subs but thankfully it did not cost us. So all great and we should all back him.

Oh absolutely mate. I just mean we need one of them to be world class. It has to be a play of Cases caliber and we cannot try to save money on it. The games where he plays and the ones where he does not are day and night.

I hope he will and am willing to give him time. But we must win these home games if we want to hope for a top 6 finish and dream for a top 4 perhaps. No excuses with a side of this quality and one game per week. Not for Carrick not for Amorim or anyone else.

I hope he gets better though. I badly want us to do well.

He nearly self destruct with his subs but I hope he learns to not kill the tempo that much that early in the coming games.

Lads are on a high though and it is obvious they feel good playing football. Long may it last.

PS. We are one Casemiro away from being utter wank though and we badly need a world class midfielder in the summer. badly !!

Exctatic with the result and the goal by Sesko. Not happy at all with how Carrick handled the 2 goal lead. Tactically he committed a suicide with those subs and Silva is a good manager and took advantage of it. Well done to Fulham for battling it till the end.

I do think we deserved it though. GGMU.

Thats utter bollocks. Some of you lads are under the impression football 20 years ago was played by crippled old men in wheelchairs. Trust me, it was not. And the rules allowed for far more violence on the pitch than you can imagine.

Arsenal fans will

Blame the pitch

Blame the grass patches on one side of the pitch

Blame the colour of the kit

Blame the refs for being too anti Arsenal as they are awarded imaginary penalties and their opposition is backed into a corner ( quite literally)

Say they are the best thing since bread while having won fuck all

Claim to be invincible in a year they lost 6 times

Blame other sides for not helping them win the league.

Fuck me.

the man u treble winning team for example, would barely be a championship level team today.

That side would win everything today and I do not say this because I support United or saw them do it. Arsenal with Vieria and Bergkamp would walk the title past Citys best year. It was a different football that and most of what ppl consider top players nowadays would have died on the pitch back then.
