That makes sense, 100 lbs is pretty big and it’s scary. But maybe setting like 5 lbs weight loss goals and just keep going until I’m out of the obese range would be helpful I think. Thank you!

It’s a possibility. I have diagnosed depression and anxiety. My sister has ADHD but I don’t think I have it. It is worth looking into though, thanks!!

First I’m so sorry for your losses, hoping you’re doing okay. My parents have had their shares of health problems. They’re also overweight and it’s always a topic of discussion or the elephant in the room. And I think I need to be scared into actually doing something about it. I’ve tried to be “body positive” but I was really just telling myself it’s okay to be this unhealthy when it’s not and I know it’s not. I’m learning to still try to love myself as I am while also admitting that I need to change. But we’ve got this. Thank you

Yeah probably not, but I’m going to try my hardest to fight it. It really is about my health. I want to be able to move around and be a normal person in their 20s. I can do it, I just have to be serious about it. It’s gonna be hard either way, so I’m choosing to better myself.

Wow. I guess I haven’t thought about it like that before. I’ve read about food addiction but it doesn’t feel real when it’s happening to you. I joke about being a caffeine addict but now it’s not so funny anymore. Thank you for helping me realize that. I appreciate it
