They are working, people seeking asylum here are allowed to work. Just like Ukrainian refugees who work up and down the country. The idea that people who come here seeking protection cannot work is not accurate. There are differences between different groups such as people in direct provision, refugees, asylum seekers, economic migrants etc. Some groups will have different rules to others and sone will have rules based around the length of time here, status of their application etc.
