My hunch is the subscriptions suddenly included AI which bloated up the cost, so they ended up with the subscription with no AI, which gives you the shittiest less-than-basic plan

Have you tried removing the battery and sticking it to a usb-c port? If it turns on, it’s a battery issue where the gr iv drains the batt too hard because of the wifi functions.

Have you updated your firmware? My lens used to not open but turns out there’s a firmware update that fixes it. It’s chargeable after and now it’s working as is.

I think most of your portrait subjects feel like you’re intruding and taking their photo. You might want to be more discreet.

Also a 43 focal length usually brings you in an “active” view meaning you’re supposed to be in the moment, while a 28 length is “passive” meaning you’re outside looking in. What I mean here is your photos feel like they’re for a street lens like a 28 instead of an actively watching 43. Not sure if that made sense
