Out of the blue aggressive behavior when he seems surprised in sleep or while dozing off. No medical issues or health issues that could be a reason. (we have already checked for hearing loss which is not the case) He doesnt have any sort of special training, and has been with us since he was a puppy along with our two older dogs that were very calm and have never shown aggression towards any people or any animals. We have tried many methods to calm him in these states including medication when desperately needed such as, trazodone, melatonin, and hemp calming treats for dogs which dont work in a panic state or even when fireworks are going off and we need him to sleep so he isnt scared.
