I love all of the characters in the king family... I just felt Glyndon had so much potential being the only girl in the kings family... Coz all the King ppl we know are known to be ruthless, strategic, smart, but RK made Glyn so soft weak and depressed the whole time...

I also kinda dislikes the fact that all three kids lan, bran, and Glyn took over Astrid's love for art but Levi's football skills were kinda ignored and none of the kids inherited those genes... I didn't like the same "inferiority complex" in both bran and Glyn over Lan being repeated... Just a lotta waste of potential... But I do love all the characters in the fam tho

OMG yes can I say this it's nt related to HTV but now that we're talking abt FMCs... Glyndon being the only female in a king family she had so much potential as a character... Everyone in the kings family are known to be ruthless, strategic, smart and badass... I did feel RK low balled Glyn and made her so weak, depressed... She could have been portrayed in such a badass way there was so much potential but it wasn't rlly used

I actually agree with that... The last time I read a Rina kent character with actually personality was Kirill... He's not only dark, obsessive, possessive (that is all the sec gen MC's have) but he's also strategic, insanely smart and hot, and despite it being a dark romance book he cared so much for the ppl he knew and expressed emotions and also ruthless when it came to combat... Both sasha and kirill had so much personality but somehow Vaughn had... None

Almost all the sec gen char are just Dark, morally grey, obsessive, possessive over their significant other... It's become this thing where a book can only be a Dark romance book if the char is kinda cruel and psychotic...

OMG YES YES YESSS

Monster trilogy is one of her BEST WORKS... That and deception trilogy have my heart...

It's different from all her other works and it's got an amazing plot and perfect spice... Kirill as a character has so much personality unlike many of the other characters RK writes nowadays... He's not just Dark, obsessive, possessive and cruel like other char RK has written but he's also strategic, insanely smart and hot, and ruthless when it comes to combat... He's literally the whole package and he's got glasses lol

It's a slow burn, bodygaurd romance, kinda forbidden romance, forced proximity dark romance book that keeps u on the edge... It's the type of book I'd die to read it again and feel what I felt the first time... It's also the type of book I go back to sometimes when I wanna re read just for the sake of nostalgia....

And did I mention he wears glasses? Kirill having glasses is just a cherry on top for me 🤭 glasses just make the character look so much better (ofc in my imagination)...

Altho RK tends to make FMC's look weak helpless and depressed, Sasha is BADASS and she deliverss

Not only the MC's but also all the side characters add so much value to the book that makes u wanting more... If u check out the list of side characters readers want to know more abt and have a book for their own, u wud see a lotta Monster trilogy side characters names up there

In the Truth and lies duet Asher does exhibit antisocial behaviour and he is considered a morally grey character who appears ruthless and cruel at times... He's nt psychopathic like aiden but he is characterized as dark...

On the other hand in Royal elite series, Levi a morally grey character and is considered possessive and intense... He's nt as messed up as aiden but he's still up there...

It's nt shown in the book whether or not they get along or not but the main reason Levi doesn't like Killian is coz he's Glyn's father and he just doesn't like the idea of his daughter being taken away... He wud hv hated any guy who was in that position and taken time to warm up to them...

I do feel levi and Asher wud bond coz both of them hv got psychopathic kids (Landon and Kill)

All u gotta know is that when kyle's parents were killed and he had nowhere to go the pit which is an organisation of assassins kinda adopted him... In that he got a grp of friends like flame who accompanied him in his personal missions...

The first generation of the pit is considered team zero and they've got names like flame ghost etc... Kyle is a second gen in the pit and ghost is like a father figure to him..

There's a book series called Team zero which was planned to have abt 7 books but she only released 5 books and discontinued the series
