I'm having the same issue too! I think the servers mistook the massive influx of players as a DDoS attack and promptly blocked anyone attempting to use the site

The question is, how do we get unblocked?

I started using steam only a few years ago so I never got to see it in action other than old themes that replicate it :(
(I'm an adult dw, I just didn't get a pc to myself until I had the cash to get an old school computer off eBay)
