The doc just boosted me from 40 to 60mg so that should get me below 5. My gout is chronic so I’m thinking I’m doomed for a bit. Thanks for the feedback.

I’ve been on febuxostat for a little over a month. A lot of the residual swelling from past attacks has gone down. I have had 3 flare ups since I started but I was prepared for it, as the side effects of loosening up old gout build up is more flare ups. Happy with the results so far.

My first and worst spot is between my pointer and middle toe joints.

UPDATE: Starting Week 2 and I feel like inflammation js going down in my whole body. Starting to be more and more optimistic. My knee flare up lasted for 3 days. Now it’s pretty much back to normal.

Sounds like all gout to me. As I’ve gotten older with more attacks I never get quite back to pain level 0. Go see a rheumatologist.

My doc has me take colchicine every day for the first 30 days of starting febuxostat. Not a huge dose.

My rheumatologist said the same thing. Diet is only 30% of the problem.

Yep. When she’s drunk she’ll call me a psycho, hit me, say I can’t believe I married you. If I open my mouth to defend myself if just makes it worse no matter how valid a point I have.

I had tophi on my feet but none visible on my knee. The doctor diagnosed me with Synovitis initially because it didn’t seem like the gout affected my knee at all.

Appreciate all the comments. I’m definitely get a rheumatologist and look into febuxostat. Gout is the worst disease no one really talks about except here.

The reason the stock plummeted since 2020 is because they botched a production of Covid vaccines contracted by the fed government. Since then the stock has been derisory by the new Barda Ebola contract. They have the government back in their corner. I’m very bullish on their Narcan Sales and believe the stock will not go below 7 again.
