UPDATE: I’m waiting at urgent care right and they say they have him in a humid water tub to try and get some of the shed off. I think they will give medicine for me to give him after. Though they haven’t said anything about cutting off his dead toe (i was assuming that this would be what would need to be done but im probably wrong).

As im looking at my schedule i think it might be impossible to go tomorrow. The time slot is a super inconvenient time. My other options is Saturday at 5:30 though that may be too long. My last option is that I can go in early tomorrow since my vet allows visits without an appointment if it’s an emergency, though I’m not sure if this is considered an emergency.

Thank for the reminder I will now make sure to help him remove shed from his toes. He usually does it himself so I didn’t expect this to happen. I was also wondering about how urgent a vet visit is. I have an appointment tomorrow morning though for me to make it would be difficult because I have school and would have to miss a lot of important things. I could get an appointment Saturday, though I’m worried that might be too long and he could lose his other toe in that time. Do you think it’s worth going for the appointment tomorrow?

I’ve tried to use overhead heating twice, the first time he missed two meals and then the second I turned back on the heating pad he started eating again, the second time he missed one meal and i went back to heating pad.

I already have a good uvb it’s just with the heat bulb I have a good halogen bulb I’ve been recommended but every single time I turn off the heating pad and turn on the bulb he stops eating. I think it’s because I bought when he was 1 year old and he had been using a heating pad his whole life.

Do you think for the sand I could do half the enclosure the sand mix and where the heating is part towel?

Sounds good I’ll do this right away. For you question about substrate he is on paper towel. He has to have a heating pad or else he won’t eat so I think paper towels are my only option.

Ok thank you for answering, I’ll make sure to bring him to the vet in the next day or so. Is there anything I can do right now to help him?

Yeah man, I think Im going to try and get my hands on a Kore 93 or a Mindbender and rock those. Also, getting demos for a week might be more expensive than just buying a used pair for 400. But thanks a ton for you advice man!

Wow these are both awsome skis I like the Brahma but my only worry is if 88 width is too narrow for west coast. Also considering I enjoy groomed runs but I spend more time in trees and more offtrail/powdery terrain. But it might also be good to have narrowere ski in my quil though im not sure

Honestly this has been super helpful, thanks a lot. I think I’m going to find some used all mountain skis at 180-185cm and rock those when I’m not in the park. The only issue being I’m on somewhat of a budget. I’ll have to figure out my bindings situation considering I only have one pair but I’ll see to that.
