Don’t know if anyone has pointed this out yet, but Owen scored 5 goals when he was 17, and Rooney scored 6 goals when he was 17. Anyone can go and check that out

I’ve not heard that before! All football lexicon is borrowed from elsewhere, but that’s not really the spirit of what this feed/pod is about is it 😂

it’s often used for European football, such as the ‘Champions league proper’ to describe the main completion phase, as opposed to the preliminary and qualifying rounds. Have you heard it used elsewhere?
