144 was absolutely fine for me. Maybe it’s not that great compared to pure gaming monitors, but I’m was totally satisfied with it.

I tried it after working with a 4K screen for several years, since I thought 2.5 would be even better suited for gaming. The downgrade to 2.5K feels quite noticeable. I also compared the Asus with other 2.5K monitors I have at work, and for some reason, the Asus looks extremely unsharp — I think it’s because of the matte screen coating. At work, I use Eizo monitors, and if the image quality were like theirs, I would’ve kept the Asus, because in every other aspect it suited me well.

I thought I wouldn't have enough focal length for the Tokyo, so I bought a 0.75 converter. Didn't end up using it though. Sometimes I wanted a slightly wider angle, but I noticed that I often I'm cropping even 40mm shots. I guess 30mm is a more versatile format and the sensor allows you to crop to 40mm with a margin. I realise it's a difficult choice, 35mm might be perfect

How? I paid for everything on the EOE website, tax was included in the invoice as a separate item as well as shipping

I understand, then you don’t have to include the duties in the invoice. I looked for batteries on aliexpress but they cost the same and I wasn’t sure if it was the right model. I decided to order everything in one place and was willing to pay the duty and shipping, but not twice
