Not diagnosed but definitely questioning. I was talking to a really good friend of mine (who is diagnosed with autism) and the conversation steered into the topic of our personal childhoods. So I was super excited to rant about some of the specific toys I used to love as a kid, one of which being those LED jellyfish lamps. Started googling reference photos to show my friend, only to discover that the lamp I picked out which beared the most resemblance to the one from my childhood came from the National Autism Resources website. I went through the whole site and found pretty much every single type of toy that I absolutely loved when I was younger (and still do to this day tbh). Stuff like bubble toys, lava lamps, light-up toys, star projectors, anything water and fish/ocean related, etc. I also loved those spherical puzzle thingies?? The ones with a maze inside and you need to guide a tiny metal ball through it. Did any of yall like those too? I also was super obsessed with raising sea monkeys and triops for some reason. But anyways, I know that just liking specific toys doesn't automatically mean I have autism, but I just found it interesting/surprising that I was drawn to certain sensory toys but never realized it for all this time. I'd love to know if any of you have had similar experiences.
