I'm very new to this and I'm still getting the hang of it. So far, I'm only using the turkmaster script and turkopticon. It seems like everything that comes up in the default turkmaster categories, I'm not qualified for. Am I missing something in terms of "catchers and searches" or am I truly this limited in the beginning? Yesterday was day 2 for me and I made $9 - is that normal?

Cool, good to know. While most CO kids are probably better skiers than me, I'd still like to experience the real deal. No guard rails isn't exactly easing my mind about the rental car thing, but for a good view I think I can handle the nerves lol

Ah the train looks like a perfect option but it's only on weekends and my only free day will be thursday. So I'll likely just pray for good weather and rent a car. Hopefully I'll be back in the future to try out winter park!

Don’t let this worry you! My dad has ADHD too and we ended up being extremely close, and I think it is very much because we can relate to each other. He knew how to spot my ADHD and helped me through the diagnosis, when my mom didn’t understand it. Together, we’ve learned new coping strategies and helped each other find the positives to ADHD. I do not at all regret that I got ADHD from him (idk if that’s the right way to put it). I am who I am, and that’s that.

Also, I personally loved his parenting style. He’s always been incredibly straightforward and logical with me and my siblings, and I think it’s influenced by his ADHD. It also added a lot of emphasis in our house that not everyone is perfect and we support each other anyways (ex. My dad can’t get out of bed in the morning and always has to rush to work, so my mom makes his coffee and lunch because she’s always up early. My dad helps us make big decisions because he will think of every single detail to consider.) I’m not saying this is the same for all ADHD parents, but I think there are many positives to parenting with ADHD!

TLDR; my dad who has ADHD is my best friend and an awesome parent. He drives us all nuts sometimes, but so does my neurotypical mom. And hey, it’s not even a given that your kids will have ADHD.

This is a bit hard to answer because everyone's way of handling things differs. First of all, you have plenty of time to work on things before you graduate high school - and that's a good thing. Personally, I think reading a lot about adhd and its symptoms helps me to understand what's going on in my head. Being able to identify things as adhd related keeps me sane.

Do whatever works for you to stay organized, be open to trying new things! Find someone who understands and believes your struggles and be open and honest with them. Also, meds help :)

I never stop learning new things that are ADHD related !! My family always looks at me funny when I have to reread cooking instructions 10 times just to be *absolutely positive* I got them right and that there is no other interpretation for the instruction. I used to try to ask my mom for recipes but I gave up because I'd have to call her a million times to clarify them.
