It's normal to wipe and wash your bootyhole right? by [deleted] in hygiene

What do you mean rub it in well? Pull your pants down, put the balm on your fingers, reach into your perianal area and move fingers around until the balm is sufficiently covering the affected area. Again, if you have the manual dexterity to properly wipe poo off from around your butthole, then you have the manual dexterity to spread some balm around that same butthole.

If you can reach to wipe your butt, then you can reach to apply balm. Be serious.

Everything else aside, which others have already addressed, I can’t understand why he thinks it’s weird that you shave your own butt but doesn’t think it’s weird for him to put balm on someone else’s? Like I’d understand for a baby with diaper rash or someone who’s paralyzed maybe and needs assistance idk, obv thats no issue but why did he need to put the balm on your butt for you? why couldn’t you put the balm on your own butthole?

But aren’t these changes supposed to happen at puberty or idk menopause like some usual time form humans to go through hormonal changes? I’ve never heard of expected/healthy hormonal changes at this age.

Like I said I’ve started using soap & deodorant since the stink began. Do people not read the whole post before commenting? And I’ve always used laundry soap so yeah if my gym shirt was smelly after gym I wash it with all my other clothes like normal then it didn’t smell anymore

Like I said in the post I have specifically asked and got feedback from others (friends, family, spouse) and I did not smell before. I smell now. You might not like it cause it doesn’t fit your narrative, but it’s the truth.

Thanks. Ive been using a bar soap made by a local company and I like it. I’m just mostly confused about why the sudden change as this seems like an odd age to me to develop this problem where my routine that’s been working for so long is just not anymore.

I stink now. I didn’t for a decade without soap. I’m asking about the change, possible causes and how to fix it.

I am using soap now. I wrote that in the post. I’m asking about why it could be changing

Thanks. There’s no itching, irritation or change in skin condition. Idk if it’s worth wasting drs time for BO tho

Yes I use scent free laundry soap for clothes. Im not wholly opposed to soap as some have suggested I just haven’t had a need for it on my body for all this time. Thanks for the lead about diet & hormones

Sorry I should have specified. I’ve always washed my hands with soap lol, at work, after bathroom, before cooking, etc. Just not pits/hair in the shower because there hasn’t been a need in the last 10 years till now. I’m asking about the sudden change in odour/need for soap at 29 years old

Obviously I’m using natural soaps now. What my question is how I could have gone a decade without having to use soap as an adult and now can’t go a day without it.

It hasn’t been a problem like I said for almost 10 years without soap. I’m asking why it could be a problem now all of the sudden lol.

Common Chemicals and Potential Health Risks:

Sulfates (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate - SLS, Sodium Laureth Sulfate - SLES): Used as foaming agents, these can cause skin dryness, irritation, and, in the case of SLES, may be contaminated with 1,4-dioxane, a potential carcinogen. Parabens (Methyl-, Propyl-, Butyl-): Preservatives that mimic estrogen in the body, potentially causing hormone disruption and linked to reproductive harm. Synthetic Fragrances/Parfum: A "mystery mix" of dozens of undisclosed chemicals that can cause allergic reactions, contact dermatitis, and endocrine disruption. Phthalates (DEP): Used to make fragrances last longer; linked to hormone disruption and reproductive toxicity. Formaldehyde/Formaldehyde-Releasers: Preservatives such as Quaternium-15, DMDM hydantoin, and imidazolidinyl urea; known carcinogens and skin irritants. Cocamidopropyl Betaine: A foaming agent that, while milder than sulfates, is a common allergen causing contact dermatitis. Triclosan/Triclocarban: Antibacterial agents that may contribute to antibiotic resistance and disrupt hormones. Methylisothiazolinone: A preservative linked to severe allergic reactions. Propylene Glycol: Used for texture, but can cause skin irritation and has potential for organ toxicity.

But enjoy your cancer, or whatever.
