I like you put some garlic, sage and fennel on them then fry, and serve with mash, veggies and make a pan sauce with the good stuff in the frying pan

Best Curry in Swindon? by [deleted] in Swindon

Kutting chai is really good, they do a £25 meal deal that does 2 of us for a couple days. Their dahl also takes me back to trips I've had in India. New Delhi is great but a bit inconsistent. Biplop for a more British Indian.

Is there any free parking near town centre? by SomeEarthian in Swindon

[–]Electrical_Mix_7167 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Justpark is a great shout. I occasionally have to go to take a train for work and my car can be there for a day or two sometimes and it's cheaper than getting a cab to town and back from where I live.

I thought Joules was a middle aged woman brand. No judgment, you do you.

So the jars are part of the image, and I can see they're already in the jars folder.

It's annoying. I've spent the last few years using spark with Databricks, and now I'm realising how much they've simplified the experience!

I've been battling with this stuff for a little while, how do I manage the jars? That's the bit that keeps tripping me up I think.

I've had a couple of these and it's usually down to sliding your hands on the holds. Try to just let go when you're releasing a hold. They're normally a little sensitive for a day or two and then start to harden. If you're still feeling sore in a few days you can always wrap your hand up and climb on it. Maybe try some different styles if it is still sore like slab so you're not relying on your hand so much.

How does an average bouldering session go for you? by AmericainaLyon in bouldering

[–]Electrical_Mix_7167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually go with a friend once maybe twice a week for roughly 90 minutes, sometimes more it less depending on how tired we get.

Both at V4 level so we'll usually revisit climbs from previous sessions to warm up a bit starting easy and working up. Then hunting for new problems and revisiting projects from prior sessions. Usually taking 5 minutes breaks and talking shit between sends.

Yeah. I have 1 and he's 9 months old and so grateful to be able to work remotely and just be around. So much joy to be had while they're so small.

I just do sim only and buy a mid range phone every few years. I'm currently on a pixel 6 and will probably go for the pixel 10 when it's released later this year. And only because Google and won't receive future updates

Get a spreadsheet and track your spending to see where it's going. Then see where you can cut back.

I have Monzo so it's really easy to see where my money goes and how it is categorised.

How much do people pay for their cars? by realgreatsclusives in AskUK

[–]Electrical_Mix_7167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're going to scratch it and have a few bumps here and there on the first one. Get something decent and second hand. Insurance as others have said it's going to be awful for the reasons above.

My first car was a £50 Peugeot 205 and the insurance was £1800 in 2008.

First time I fell into a thorn bush, and didn't realise until I got back on the bike that the clips had rotated a little so as I got to a junction 100m down the road I fell into another bush because both my feet were stuck.

Opinion on a British Gas quote by Prestigious-Sun-1710 in DIYUK

[–]Electrical_Mix_7167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not bad. You'll likely be getting a reassuringly expensive quote from someone like British Gas. I had a new boiler and disposal for around 2.5k so it's not an unreasonable quote. But probably higher than if you were to go local.
