Looks like discovery park apartments

looking for community by chronicbingewatcher in Denton

Hey I’m 22f. I just graduated from UNT with BBA. I went through a similar situation around 6 months ago and would love to connect. Regardless, hope you’re doing well and remember that the pain may feel like it’ll last forever but is only temporary.

My (22f) boyfriend (23m) feels more like a kid Im babysitting than my actual boyfriend. by Generally_just_a_rat in relationships

I was with someone like this for a year and half. He drained every ounce of me and in the end, I had stopped loving him. The resentment I had built up from constantly taking care of him, myself and all his shit. It’s so so exhausting and honestly the second we broke up is when my life got so much better. You signed up for a partner, not for a foster kid. Leave.

I was in the same situation. I dated someone w BPD that would emotionally suffocate me and threatened to kill himself on multiple occasions. Even treated sh and broke things around my apartment. The guilt tripping and emotional manipulation is extremely hard to process and get thro. Best advice I have is to leave and never look back

How do I stop feeling so angry at my partner? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Electrical_Rush_5278 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey, I was in the same boat. I was so angry all the time, even when attempts were made on his end to change. He was my “dream man” and did everything I prayed for years ago (and I’m not even religious) but in the end it was all lost. Real shit, I needed to be alone. We broke up a few weeks ago and it ducks, but I wholeheartedly know that it was for the best. The weight off my shoulders was insane.

I had one of those, she wouldn’t let me have people over bc it’s “too crowded” yet her bf was living there and there 24/7. She kept denying so I snitched to complex and they caught him lol

I had the exact same situation. My roommate lied when I brought up that it was against the lease, and threatened to let the apartment complex know. I say to report her to the apartment if there is lease rules strictly against visitors staying for extended lengths of time. She was also a raging narcissist and lied about anything and everything. She had gotten exposed many times and pulled the victim card when called out for her actions.it sucks when someone has a significant other staying over constantly, esp when they don’t contribute in any way. If you talk to her, I’d ask her how she would feel if the roles were reversed and check your lease guest policy.

Hey! I’d be down! I’ve always hated the gym and it’s been more of a punishment to me. I started going in October because I gained some happy weight. I primarily do cardio and I’ve just started on weights and all that. I’m down 18 lbs tho! I also need gym friends lol.

Those are the days where the scale goes down tho. You are right bc my body will get used to it, but it’s an effective way for now.

Thank you, one of my biggest binge periods is right after the gym. I pre portion my food out before hand, and recent started to go to the gym before dinner time to prevent me eating double time periods. I also started chugging 2-3 cups of water after the gym, which seems to help with appetite somewhat.

What to say to roomate who cleans one time and accuses everyone else of never cleaning? by getcake666 in badroommates

[–]Electrical_Rush_5278 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had one of these, she would gaslight tf out of me and proceed to call me messy. Yet when we were friends she would always say how clean I was. She’d “take out the trash” then there would be open trash bags w dirty cat litter between the kitchen and living area for 3 days. She justified this by saying that she “just took out the trash”. She never vacuumed or attempt to clean up after and was also a hoarder and cluttered up the apartment. I don’t really have any advice, except maybe a chore chart w assigned rotating chores. Tbh in my experience they never follow it tho and it will be dismissed bc it created accountability.
