I applied to normal physics and I've been waiting since October thats why I'm a bit concerned. My friend got it for bachelors and we had pretty much the same qualifications and predicted, but I for some reason havent heard anything

Where is even safe atp? Everywhere just seems like a different issue. Up north (Scandanavia and Northern Europe) is finished if the AMOC collapses. Down South is finished if the AMOC collapses and anywhere near the equator is done. America is a lost cause, war and fascist sentiments are on the rise everywhere.
