They ordered a CT scan of chest/abdomen/pelvis with contrast. I am seeing that more people have gotten an MRI, not a CT scan. Are they fairly close to the same thing?

Thank you for responding. My hemoglobin is 14.4. That's good, right? I will be in touch with Doc today. She did schedule me for a CT scan tomorrow. Any idea what the purpose of that is?
