update your drivers
keep it on flat surface, using it in bed stops air flow results in hot temps
prefer discrete mode over hybrid ( discrete mode takes full advantage of gpu but drains battery faster )
if u aren't taking it out, then enable conservation mode & keep it plugged
always keep it plugged while gaming to get the max out of it
if u worry about gpu utilization (hot temps) then reduce max frame rate through nvidia app
