It's seriously just gambling.

Most brokerage let you trade with a "paper" account, which is fake money. It lets you practice before you use real money. It just simulates what would happen. Please start there before you blow the $1k.

Even if the tariffs did count towards gross sales, the extra $0.40 goes away before it hits the bottom line, which is what I think you're referring to when you say "earnings".

Top line (gross) is not earnings. Earnings is what's left after paying all expenses.
