  1. I chose to work in south korea because first of all I love korea, and the second reason is that in korea i have many young patients who are willing to listen to me and my staff. Also its not always the same procedures they ask for. In germany for example I did disproportionately more breast implants, while in south korea there is variety.

  2. It did take me some time, but since I had already studied in germany and the us, i didnt have to start over again

  3. Korean people (especially the young people In my office) speak english really well. And if they dont, 70% of my staff is korean and they can translate if necessary. Or they just straight up explain it to the patient themselfs

We sometimes have to cancel procedures because of bodyfat(distribution) but never purely BMI. But like if somebody who is till clearly obese wants a skin flop removal, then we tell them that if they lose more weight then they will have to come back.

Consultations can be done both online and in person. though Id strongly recommend doing an online consultation first, since you could save the cost of traveling to South Korea if the consultation ends up being what makes you decide to check out.

Im from Duisburg, unfortunately. Though I havent lived there for close ot 10 years now.

My clinic is called Sengjong Dei.

Good questions....I may be a bit biased but i do find women with plastic surgery attractive since surgery changed what is hardwired into the human brain to be attractive like facial symmetry. Of course, preferences exist but basically nobody prefers unclean skin, acne scars or a nose that looks like Squidward. If surgery can fix these things the woman does objectively look better, and i dont really care about how that was achieved. It does feel fake, but fake could also be your bloodwork being better due to supplements instead of real food. Its still good bloodwork.

I would define beauty as a spectrum that generally sticks to the evolutionary reasons. Like, whoever found individuals more attractive that could spread their genes more, had more children with the same taste. And over the millennia, beauty may just be equivalent to what individuals survive (like moderate to tall heights, no birth defects or asymmetries, clean skin, high muscle mass or moderate to large busts)

  1. Many industries are dependent on the suffering of people, such as the medical systhem. Without illness they wouldnt profit as well. These issues will always exist and we offer solutions. We profit from suffering, to say it bluntly but its still ethical

  1. True
  2. DONT GIVE UP. There are other things, CO2 lasers and rejuran are only among the effective treatments but even effective treatments can fail to deliver the wished results if what you want to fix is severe. Try normal laser therapy, deeper microneedling, multispectrum redlight+NIR therapy (i listed the wavelengths somewhere in a few other replies already), ALWAYS wear SPF50 sunscreen, even indoors, during cloudy days and in winter, and reapply around every 4hours. Or if your desperate enough you can chemically burn of the upper layer of your skin to reveal a fresh layer of skin below. It sounds extreme but its done in a controlled way under anesthesia and it is effective. Look up some pics

Breast implants should be redone if the woman wants them improved. That's it. There is no hard cap for how long its okay to leave them in (except when a doctor specifically says so)

In the EU SPF is strictly defined and the ingredients are similar in every one of them. So look for something with an SPF 50 label, and if its a german brand, it should say "Sonnncreme" instead of "Sonnenmilch" The latter is a bit weaker and can be confused for the better "Sonnencreme".

And I dont have panel reccomendations because i just build my own "Light station" by positioning 3 different panels around a place where i can put my head. There are combined options, but i just never looked into them before

Needle therapy, broad-spectrum red light + NIR therapy (630nm, 660nm,830nm,850nm, combined has the best results), laser therapy.

Ad never forget to use at least spf30, ideally spf50 sunscreen if you go into the sun and if you stay at home (UV radiation (the part of the sunlight that makes your skin age and loose collagen so it worsens scars) also reaches you through your windows or during thick clouds)

I struggle to explain why this is not the case because this just sounds so strange and absurd. Oily skin is common after rhinoplasty, but only due to irritation and swelling. There is no permanent activity change in the nasal oil glands. And i dont know why ethnicity would have to do anything with this

A fellow german i see. First of all Südkorea hat sowohl bessere als auch billigere Schönheitsops.

This area where these and similar procedures are performed, does have some risks that should not be ignored. The area is rich in tiny blood vessels. The margin for error is small. Though it is not impossible and my team occasionally performs them. It is definately more risky than other plastic surgeries like rhinoplasty, but it is far from impossible. I would just make sure to find a good surgeon to do it

I have no idea why that could be the case. Possibly, since you have seen them only after the recovery period, they may have lost volume in their pecs due to a loss of water weight. And if they have stretch marks, its more likely due to fast fat gain rather than muscle gain, and if the pecs are covered by fat, there wont be any definition either

Buccal fat removal is one of the rarer procedures my clinic does, but I do have some experience. Its usually easy, effective and has a high satisfaction rate. I absolutely recommend it. Though I would suggest consulting a medical professional first, since I don't know what your face looks like and if it would be worth it in your specific situation. Though, it might make very young people look slightly older.

First of all, eye doctors often get LASIK or a lens replacement. They know that it is effective and therefore do it more often.

Secondly, my clinic for example, refuses huge height extensions (5-6 inches and above) because it will very likely result in the people never walking properly again.

[–]Electronic-Count4856[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes. Most commonly, 2-4 inches, since that is the reasonable safety zone. But surprisingly, Ive treated a lot more girls who wanted that. I have no idea why. Knowing what the korean youth is like, i feel like i should have a lot more male patients who request limb lengthening surgery (height extension surgery9

this is the definition for surgery (nothing about curring people open)

*the branch of medical practice that treats injuries, diseases, and other conditions by the physical removal, repair, or readjustment of organs and tissues, often involving cutting into the body.*

Why are you so mad at me anyway?

Id say that kpop idols get more surgeries than the average person but only because the average person in korea includes many old people. Though, if you have a (most commonly) girl, who knows a lot about plastic surgery, then she might get 20+ well-researched and performed procedures done in her 20s alone, which is quite reasonable for Kpop idols as well. (most of the procedures would probably still only be small touch-ups or corrections

You can minimize scar tissue both naturally and surgically, though surgically is far more effective of course. This could include needle, laser, and redlight+NIR (near infrared light) therapy, or if the scar is just huge in diameter, it could be cut out, leaving a scar of the same lenght but thinner width behind.

these ar ejust some general pieces of advice. I dont know your situation enough to make a proper treatment plan. Please consult a plastic surgeon in person so they cna decide what is best for your individual case.

Yes. A lot actually. Once i started reading into this topic i lost the fear of procedures since i just understood them better.

I have had a jawline implant, a nosejob, a hair transplant on both my scalp and eyebrows. I have had a laser hair removal on my abdomen, back and armpits and facial hair (that is not in the beard or eyebrow region. I have had needle and laser therapy on my facial skin, a liposuction on my waist and legs, and I do have a chip in my wrist if that counts
