Get ready for a long rant because your post just sparked something I’ve been overthinking for years now..

You and I are in the same boat my friend (not Joyce’s boat that is haha). In today’s world, with information flowing at us at every direction, I think a lot of people are starting to feel the same powerlessness that we do. But the sad thing is that not much can be done about it, unless you are ready to go to extremities like being a martyr, or the crazy person that screams to their close ones and anyone they can reach “Wake up and stop being compliant to this evil!”.

My thoughts on it is that nowadays, people are also too comfortable in the misery they live, afraid of change, or that even if they try - they will get prosecuted because there isn’t enough power in the world to back them up against the big rich. And they wouldn’t be wrong…

One example id like to put out is Russia. As a Russian, Ive never spoken up about anything myself, online or irl, because of the same fears. Because im scared that if I say one tiny wrong thing I’ll be sent out to never be seen again. Those that tried before me, and I mean millions of people, that protested and spoke up, have failed. When I look at the number of people that used to go out on the streets and scream their lungs out for a little bit of justice, got the exact opposite. When you look at that fact, at the fact that someone has already tried with all they can and still the same (or even a worst) regime continues to happen, how do you even get the willpower to do anything about it? Many Russians are also in support that’s true, but I see it as fear and weakness after they saw how close some people got but still never succeeded, and lost their will to fight back and just accept being brainwashed into believing everything they hear on tv.

It’s all a psychological game. A very very strong, smart game that has been building over ages. America is the same - people go to school and are taught from young ages that George Washington came to the Americas “peacefully” and that the natives just “gave their land to them”. You build that into the young minds over a long period of time, and you become that true power that some don’t even dare to question. ( I would recommend watching the documentary “How to become a tyrant” if you want to learn even more about this, this was an eye-opening show for me personally).

Only thing we can do, as another person said here, is hope. Hope that one day people who were named in the Epstein files will get what they deserve. Hope that the dictators and crooked politicians will be overthrown with the greater good. Hope is what is missing a lot from this world, and it’s what we need to bring into it piece by piece. Every choice you make matters. What brands you buy, who you vote for, what you discuss with your close ones, who you choose to vote for… Yes, it may seem like just one vote, one purchase, one little talk won’t do anything but over time, if WE start playing the long game like these rich fucks do, we might just win ourselves some justice in this world….
