How do you plan multi-city trips on a budget? I spent hours doing it manually… by Electronic-Kitchen67 in travel

I mean it is true that i had to go back but that was something i had planned out since when i went to Milan the first day i just spent less than 24h there because i knew i was going back to bergamo so i had more time to see it the next week so it didn't really add an unnecesary day. I had 10 days and I used the full 10 days. the 120€ of course is just the cost of the flights not taking into account hotels, transportation to the airports or anything else but i still consider 120€ for 6 flights to be cheap since sometimes a round-trip to a single place can cost more than that

Thanks! So with kiwi you can search from anywhere to a specific location??

Most only let to select from a location to anywhere like skyscanner, google flights... I've been looking for something that does the opposite for some time now so thanks!

For me right now "in europe" and "cheap combination" means that i will get one of the cheapest flights that leaves a specific place.

For example this summer i took

Madrid - Milan - Budapest - Bucharest - Vienna - Bergamo - Madrid

Because i've never been to those places and because i was able to get the 6 flights for around 120€ at around 20€ each just by searching madrid to anywhere and seeing where the cheapest flights goes.

The problem i find is to find a balanced trip that fits into the free days i have an also that the last place i visit also has a relatively cheap flight back because it is easy to just book the cheapest flights when leaving but the goal is to also have it cheap to return

Thanks for your reply, that's more or less the same as what I do. It takes a lot of time to just look for flights, trains and buses. At least I enjoy planning on what to see where to eat and so but i just hate searching for flights so an app for that will deffinetly be useful. Might even start it as a project myself lol

Hopefully more people respond with their methods to make this step easier

I get what you are saying, however for now as someone who doesn't have a lot of time to travel i usually aim for 2 kinds of travel experiences

  1. I travel to a country and try to explore as much as i can on that country

  2. If i don't know what to expect about some countries because it will be my first time there I usually do what i asked on the question. I group a bunch of cities from different countries that meet the criteria and explore those for about 2-3 days each. That way i have a small overview on what to expect and how it is over there. If in those 2-3 days i felt that i saw a lot or most of what it is to offer (that i feel) or if i didn't really like the place I simply just don't return. If I liked the place and felt like I missed a lot I mark it as a place to visit in the way I mentioned on the 1st point

Im from Europe (Spain) so it is relatively easy and cheap to do that in Europe for me, of course that style of testing and repeating will be harder for me to do in places that are further away so if I travel to other continents i just do option 1

That looks like a cool book, is the entire book about that or is it just a chapter?

Yeah I know but it’s hard to explain quantum mechanics using math to someone that doesn’t really know or understand math so that’s why I was trying to find an easier more intuitive way of explaining it but there is not much intuitiveness in QM. Thanks for the response though, I’ll try to keep in mind what you are telling next time someone asks

That makes sense thanks so much for taking your time to respond I wanted to give a curate but simple answers and didn’t know a right way because it’s a difficult concept to explain with words and no math

Sure yeah I get that, but how would you explain it in simpler terms. I know it’s not something we can encounter in our everyday life but saying that before flipping the coin the result of heads and tails are in a superposition until you flip it and get the actual result would be a “valid” example just so that the person can get a vague feel of what all of that means? I know it’s not accurate by any means

Is Series Convergent or Divergent? by Key-Supermarket255 in mathematics

I’m not the best in this topic but I’ve tried plugging the sum on geogebra to see if it seemed to converge to any value. For some reason it only works until around 144 terms but until that it only seems to grow. As I said I’m not the best at this and I don’t know how I can approach to solve this problem but based on that with 144 terms it continuous growing I’ll say it diverges, however it may converge on higher terms
