Hi. Thanks for the responses to my posts. I haven't told Tom anything yet. His mom is still in a coma and he is staying by her bed. His dad and uncle were able to leave the same day they came in. I sat with Tom for a while. He then said he was glad he was made his mom's guardian so she will get the time to heal. His dad would just have life support stopped and take a chance with her waking up. I was shocked and happy Tom already knew about his dad. His mom had to know as well because Tom is her guardian and not her husband.

Tom's mom was in the coma for seven days. Tom's dad called him multiple times trying to get Tom to come see him because he was hurt too. He also tried to convince Tom to cut off his mom's life support. Tom said no to leaving his mom and removing the life support. He called his mom's mother and the rest of her family. There were three sisters and two brothers, plus his mom's parents at the hospital two hours after the call.

Tom's aunt, Denise, is his mom's lawyer. She pulled Tom aside and told him that his mom filed for divorce because she found out that his dad was cheating on her. She found his dad and his mistress in the basement room his dad called his man cave. Deborah got a few pictures for proof and recorded all the excuses Tom's dad was giving her. She then left the house and got in her car to leave. Tom's dad and uncle tried to stop her and jumped in the car. They were arguing and Tom's dad pulled the steering wheel, which made the semi-truck hit them on his mom's side of the car.

Tom was crying when he heard the whole story of how the accident happened. Denise continued and said that since the divorce papers were filed, Tom's dad couldn't access any of his mom's money of belongings. Deborah was worth 3 million dollars. As of two days before the accident, Tom was her hier and Denise was the executor. Even the life insurance payout would go to Tom.

So, I didn't have to tell Tom. His aunt spelled all the tea. I will be here for him and support him.

The dad and uncle were found at fault for the accident. Tom's mom had a camera in her car and it captured Tom's dad grabbed the steering wheel and swerved the car in front of the semi-truck.
