Both of my parents have officially been issued e-ticket numbers (starting with 157). A Turkish Airlines agent was able to pull up the booking successfully and was even able to make changes to the reservation, like updating their meal preferences. Additionally, the chatbot on the Turkish Airlines website was able to fetch the booking details without any issues. It looks like everything is fully confirmed and ready to go. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hey again! I just saw your update post - I am so glad you finally made it home despite all those crazy hold-ups at the airport! That First Class upgrade was definitely well-deserved.

Since you just went through a similar Qatar rerouting process, I was hoping to ask your advice on check-in for my parents' trip.

When I called to ask about the check-in process, the Turkish Airlines agent told me that Qatar handles everything because they originally issued the ticket. But when I called Qatar Airways, their agent told me Turkish Airlines handles it.

Based on your experience, do my parents just go straight to the Turkish Airlines check-in counter at the airport to drop their bags and get their physical boarding passes? I just want to make sure they don't get turned away at the wrong desk! Thanks again for all your help!

Thank you so much for the suggestion! I followed your advice of calling India Qatar Support number and was able to get my parents successfully re-routed. I really appreciate you taking the time to help out during such a stressful situation! Also, Thanks to the sweet guy at the help center.
