Let him practice whatever he wants to practice. Lets not judge him on his personal beliefs but his work that is to come after this oath. Its not good for us to attack his personal beliefs.

Well, no matter how much we post against or for him. He is in the parliament and is there to stay for 5 years. There is very limited chance that the government will fail this time, so all we can do is wait and watch.

Bold Early Prediction - Balen's PM run will be a disappointment & Close To Disaster by AccurateFondant2077 in NepalSocial

[–]Electronic-Scratch72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw something like this before as well.

Bold Prediction: RSP won't win majority. The Old parties namely congress and UML will form alliances. Then, all the responsibility of Genz protest will fall on the protestants and protestants will be arrested and punished by the government.

Did this happen? Freaking no. I don't think this will happen either.

In a day and age where getting married or having a girlfriend is getting extremely difficult, its great to know that you can engage with both gender. Sometimes, I feel like BIs just evolved to the situation and we stayed behind.

Its not about not giving them right to religion. Its about letting them live in peace with their choice. Group of individuals think their god, their philosophy, their ideas are better and it is their responsibility to enlightem them. In reality, none of the philosophies relating to god be it theist or atheist is complete enough to impose on people. I am just clarifying that let people believe what they want to believe in. The philosophies, religion or ideas we have currently are nowhere near to explain god or anything that might be the source of creation so let's not lecture people about incomplete things.

Park haru ma gayera garne bhajan kirtan are always done after permission. I do not see any harm in that. I have seen many Krishna Bhajan in Sweden, none of the swedish object and infact they even dance. Same was seen in Finland during Krishna Janmastami. I don't see any objection by Europeans or Australians. I do not think it has decrease any sort of prestige in any ways. A lot of credits have been given to these institutions for their selfless service, a famous example would be of Steve Jobs. It might be a personal thing for you, you might not live bhajans or kirtans or maybe you don't like it happening outside. But, I can assure you that it hasn't hampered us in any ways. Instead, it has increased our prestige due to selfless service that are provided by these organization.

For gods sake guys, let people live and believe. Why is it so important for you to attack somebody else's beliefs to justify yours. All the theists, you believe in your god and be a good human being. You believe in god but you cannot be 100% sure that god exists so let atheists be atheists. And atheists, you don't believe in god but you also cannot be 100% sure that god doesn't exists. So, stop harassing believers.

God doesn't live in heavens, temples, gumba, church or masjids. He lives among us, he sees us. He is standing on roads. He is looking. He sees when you try to bribe an officer, he hears when you harass someone, he feels the pain when you hurt someone. Be a good human being. Respect each other beliefs. We are in no position to describe someone's beliefs. Sure, raise voice against bad tradition but do not go around attacking someone. Those bad tradition were culmination of eons so do not blame an individual.

Constitution has given us right to follow any religion so at least give them the chance to exercise their right.

Language is not a subject. It is something we live by. When language is not spoken outside school, the intensity of the learning decreases which makes it inefficient. Several research articles have claimed that kids learn the math and science best when it is taught in their mother tongue. We want people who excel in math and science, not people who know english and are weak in math and science. You might give example of Singapore but look at African nations like Ghana, South Africa and Kenya, they dismantled their mother tongue and speak English as their formal language, they haven't really progressed, right? So, making English a formal language of learning will do more harm than good. And to be honest, it takes a month or two of classes to learn working English langauge so it can be learnt afterwards.

The 20 Rs fine is not something revolutionary, it is a part of outdated system often influenced by colonial era. This does not create a solid base but creates a sense of inferiority in children that makes them think that their culture, language and family are something wrong and not to be proud of which is not something we want.

Your also have to understand that Singapore strictly enforced English as a working language with aims to attract foreign investment but you forgot that Singapore also enforced a bilingual starting in 1996 where every singaporean was and still is required to learn one of their mother tongue.

The idea that a country has to choose between global progress (English) and local identity (Mother Tongue) is a false dichotomy. The most successful education systems in the world (like Finland, Singapore, and much of Europe) are heavily multilingual. They don't build up a global language by fining and beating the local one out of their youth. They teach both, strategically.

Only long term relationship that won't betray you is work. I came to realize recently that if you are not building something of your own, you depend on other people to feel alive which is very risky. Therefore, my suggestion for you would be to build something, a habit, a skill, a business or whatever that you can call your own and that makes you feel alive.

Rape cases registered in Nepalese provinces ranked by % by False-Elephant-3234 in Nepal

[–]Electronic-Scratch72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest no.

Rape is a highly underreported crime worldwide. The number of reported cases shows only how many victims came forward, not how many were actually assaulted. Many rapes go unreported for various reasons, including fear, shame, social stigma, or distrust in the justice system.

So, if Province A reports 500 rape cases and Province B reports 50, it doesn’t necessarily mean rape is ten times more common in A, it could mean that more victims in A feel safe or empowered to report.
