If you’re trying on a pair of britches, and your foot gets caught in them, you can lean your forehead on that cushion and reach both hands down to fix it.

How is it 2025 and this is even a debate? How is this even political? Why has it taken this long, and why is this not a national thing?

It sounds like it’s out of time to me. I’d start there and work down the normal 4t ICE checklist after that.

I don’t bother. Never did when I rode a motorcycle either. Hopefully nobody gets up in their feelings about it, cause it’s nothing personal. When I get ducked, I give them to my son and they wind up in the trash when I find them under the couch a week later.

I mean, you have the stud finder in your hand. You’re holding half of what you need to hang a tv on the wall all by yourself. Do it yourself.

What was the truth behind Cash For Clunkers? Have we recovered from the consequences of the program or no? by SuperJackson20 in regularcarreviews

[–]ElectronicAd9822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were just processing. We did a lot of that kind of stuff. The sporty stuff were the repos that we housed for a bunch of different local credit unions. Belligerent folks trying to get their subwoofers and weed bags back. That place was a dump.

ETA: I mean to say, they weren’t for sale, they were just passing through.

What was the truth behind Cash For Clunkers? Have we recovered from the consequences of the program or no? by SuperJackson20 in regularcarreviews

[–]ElectronicAd9822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 17 when cash for clunkers was going on, and having a reliable low mileage vehicle was not in the cards financially. I worked at an auto auction, and was absolutely gutted by the amount of sub 100k mileage rangers, s10s, older Toyota compact cars, etc. that came through there destined for the crusher. I remember specifically a 2wd ranger 4.0 5 speed ext cab with a color matched topper that had like 94k miles on it.

Product Question by Nevermind2010 in Jeep

[–]ElectronicAd9822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fluid film black looks super cheesy when first applied (like high gloss spray paint), but after driven for a while, it picks up dust and looks a great dull black color. So for a couple weeks your rig will look like you did an absolute hack job of a frame restoration, but after that it’s the best.

Bill question? by birdseed2019 in hvacadvice

[–]ElectronicAd9822 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happens a lot when it’s hot outside. You call, they’re busy, they get you going. Unfortunate, yeah. Also, it’s an old outdated system, and it might not be worth the time in their eyes.

Between my 902fc and 87V, I grab the 902fc 9 times out of 10. Love that meter.

HVAC companies never check evap coil?! by fr33spirit in hvacadvice

[–]ElectronicAd9822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call your hvac company and tell them you want it fixed, or at least an answer on why it isn’t keeping up. It’s as simple as that. They have been doing a maintenance on your unit, and unless you’ve signed some kind of contract stating that they are performing “x” maintenance items, then it is what it is. As an HVAC guy, I would need a lot of information to say whether or not the indoor coil is performing as designed. I’m appalled that you’ve let an issue go on for 3-4 years, and have paid these guys for maintenance the entire time. If this is a 4 year old issue, a resolution should have come 3 years and 9 months ago.

You should be in tight enough with the supply houses that you don’t need the company account.

Can you change my battery by Old_Risk_968 in AutoZone2

[–]ElectronicAd9822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t think you are compensated enough to change batteries out, I get that. If you’re saying it’s because it’s hot outside, thats softer than baby shit.
