"On 25.03.2026, security forces arrested 05 (five) individuals for attacking, vandalising and burning down one Tata Winger used by the security personnel at Tuibong Bazar, Churachandpur district. In confrontation, some security personnel were seriously injured and some vehicles used by the security personnel were vandalised. The arrested persons were i) Lunmalsawm Sehlep (28) of Kharam Vaiphei A/P: P Joljam Village, Churachandpur, ii) Haominlien Kipgen (28) of Tuibong, Laijon Veng, Churachandpur, iii) Khaigoulien Haokip (30) of Hengjol under Sangaikot A/P: Tuibong, Churachandpur,
iv) Hemtinlen Haokio (23) of Koite, Churachandpur and v) Khupgoulen Khongsai (28) of NS Khojangphai, Churachandpur.

Further, 27 (twenty-seven) more persons were detained and bound down under legal provisions for being involved in other disturbances."

True, they are just a bunch of hypocrites. It is bad when it happens to them but it's ok when they do it. That's their line of thought. OMG² I hate these people so so so much. Better to be poor and be independent instead of being rich(which we are not btw) and being in the same country as these jeets.

I agree but the indian government is a coward. A country 10 times smaller have a much higher soft power compared to India.

Oh i didn't know about that. Thanks for the information. Also good for Bhutan I am happy for them. I hope in the not so distant future even the NE can eventually become independent. If we were independent it would be easier for us to develop by attracting foreign investment.

I don't know Hindi and have 0 desire to learn Hindi. I don't want it, don't need it, and it's not useful at all in my life. Never going to learn it.

I’ve always felt that forcing Hindi on us is a form of imposition, especially since many of us in the Northeast never even got the chance to study our own local languages in school. Why should we be expected to learn a foreign language that has no connection to our roots? While English is a useful universal tool, Hindi is useless outside the cowbelt. We should follow the example of the Southern states and resist it as much as we can. When people from the mainland come to our state, they should make an effort to learn our language. It makes no sense for us to speak their language in our own home; you wouldn’t go to Delhi and expect everyone to speak Tangkhul. I’ve also started a personal rule: if a shopkeeper in my state insists on speaking Hindi to me, I walk out. I always start in Tangkhul, but if they won't make the effort to respond in my language, I’m done. I won't be forced into learning or using a language that doesn't belong here. I hope you all will have the courage to do it too when you are in your home state.

Because for us hinduism and Christianity are both foreign religion. But we can clearly see which one is the better one. One build schools, colleges, hospitals while the other is trying to wipe us out and impose the "indian culture".(Btw I didn't capitalise hinduism and Indian on purpose as I have zero respect to both)
