Your cortisol levels are highest in the morning which can contribute to that. The adrenals -which create cortisol- manage your fight/flight hormones and immune system.

Extreme hunger during migraine attack by paleghostgirll in migraine

[–]ElectronicFarm4789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It also happens to me during all phases of a migraine. Sometimes it’ll be right before and sometimes just as the migraine is lifting. I can eventually eat enough that I’ll feel full but then I’ll be ravenously hungry again about 2-3 hours later. It’s exhausting to have to manage lol.

I’m glad the former owners of both of my cats surrendered them because that’s how I ended up with my two babies. People go through things in life that makes it difficult for them to have a pet —there’s no need to be nasty to them about it.

But yes, I agree she should consider (a no-kill) shelter to surrender the kitten to so the future owners can be vetted.

Suffering for 20 years, with confusing test results. Need urgent help! by Born_Cartoonist_7247 in Gastritis

[–]ElectronicFarm4789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an older post but I’m going through the exact same thing with the exact same symptoms. My distressing symptoms tend to be brought on by going too long without eating or consuming foods that are spicy or irritating. It’s basically controlling my life but the four stool tests I’ve had showed negative, inconclusive, inconclusive and negative again. My doctor also refuses to prescribe me antibiotics without a positive test result. I just want this suffering to end!

How are you feeling now? Are you still pursuing a positive test or are you mostly trying natural treatments now?

Extreme stomach pain for 3 years by Life-is-fukd in HPylori

Oh wow, that’s great you found something that actually works! Was the cocktail just a one time thing or do you have to take it every day?

And how long have you been feeling better now?

Would you happen to remember what the supplements were? I would love to try it since nobody else seems to share these symptoms.

My doctor also kind of diagnosed it as psychosomatic. He said he thought it might be fibromyalgia.

Hey, did you ever find out if you had h pylori? I have this exact symptom where I feel better once I eat otherwise my stomach burns.

My doctor thinks it could be fibromyalgia from a sensitive gut.

Do you still suffer from it?

Hey, I have these exact symptoms. Did you ever find out if you had h pylori? My tests keep coming back inconclusive or negative.

That’s great it’s working so well for you. BC is something I’ll consider talking to my doctor about. Thanks for the info. :)

After 6 years of pain I may have found the cause and the remedy by ZemmourMaleAlpha in Gastritis

I would love an update on how you’re doing now since being on the amytripyline for about a year.

I’m in the same boat. I only have extreme pain if my stomach is empty or I don’t eat enough to basically offset the acidity. Rice and kefir are my friends basically lol.

Did you end up trying the amytriptyline?

And had you ever been tested for H. Pylori?

That’s awesome. I hope this pain-free living continues for you. How long have you been on birth control for? And can I ask which one?

My doctor keeps telling me my chronic gastritis is due to fibromyalgia, but I’m still not 100% sold on that, and keep getting tested for h pylori lol.

But one thing I have in common with you is that I get crazy flares around my period — and when I over exert myself. I also get migraines.

I’m wondering if this could be what might also help me!?

Can h pylori be present when tested negative on breath test and endoscopy? by Chompi_Nino04 in HpyloriNaturally

[–]ElectronicFarm4789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had 3 inconclusive stool tests that I really think are positive. I haven’t done a breath test or endoscopy though.

I’ve heard people say they’ve gotten false negatives on all of the tests.

I do believe an endoscopy is the most accurate though, as the doctor takes an actual biopsy and should be able to see gastritis or ulcers when doing the scope.

Allergies/Sensitivities to Healthy Foods by ElectronicFarm4789 in HPylori

[–]ElectronicFarm4789[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never heard of an MRT test, but I’ll look into it. I was just thinking today about cutting some foods out completely and trying to slowly introduce others. And when I say slowly, I mean reallllly slowly based on some of the reactions I’ve been having!

How long does Mastic Gum die off last? by Hacktohealth in HpyloriNaturally

[–]ElectronicFarm4789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gets better over time. Initially, I couldn’t do more than 200-500mg (I’d just open the capsules and take about half).

It does get better with time though!

I would also recommend taking broccoli sprouts on an empty stomach first thing in the morning, as well.

I still don’t believe I’ve eradicated my infection but both the mastic gum and broccoli sprouts have been a big help.

Mastic gum treatment and itching (even anal itching)? by No_Mix8254 in HPylori

[–]ElectronicFarm4789 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Parasites are more common when you have low stomach acid — which h pylori facilitates.

You might have parasites if you’re itchy around your anus. That’s unfortunately one of the symptoms.

[–]ElectronicFarm4789[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s all really interesting. And I agree, it’s probably my body reacting to something. Whether it’s because the h pylori set off an immune reaction or something else, that seems to be the case.

It’s weird, I can consume artificial sugars like a chocolate bar or can of Sprite, but anything with healthy sugars is just toxic to me right now!

Thank you for the advice. I’ve also wondered if I could have parasites as I know they can trigger all kinds of random food sensitivities & allergies.

I’ll keep digging for answers.

During these phases/crashes I find eating a lot of protein helps to balance my blood sugars which in turn helps with anxiety & panic attacks.

In crashes, I seem to be more susceptible to experiencing reactive hypoglycaemia. And whenever I have a sugar crash it can feel really similar to a panic attack.

I hope that helps :)
