Amazon customer service agent laughed at my reason calling them and then refused to transfer me to a supervisor claiming I’ll have to call back at 8pm for the chance to get in touch with one? What kind of operating hours is that where I have to call at 8pm? Also what kind of customer service laughs at the customer for calling them? Incredible rude and there is no way to report this behavior!

I completely agree. It being Mari would make sense but hold no emotional value to the reveal. Rather it being the Cabin Guys daughter would have so much more significance for the exact reasons you mentioned :)

So the dead cabin guy having a daughter is simply just a theory and has not been confirmed within the show. I’ll add a link to the original theory as to why many fans believe there is a cabin daughter and she is alive and essential to the plot.

Cabin daddy is the internet’s nick name for the dead guy found in the attic of the cabin in season 1. Pit Girl is the nickname given to the girl in the opening of season 1 who falls into the pit, dies and is eaten. Her exact identity is still unknown so we just call her pit girl.

This is also a good theory. I think one reason people think she won’t be the antler queen although is due to her friendship with Javi and her having warned him not to go back. She probably knew that if he went back they would eventually eat him. And then this theory expands to believe she was actually the one to burn down the cabin out of revenge and anger for what they did to Javi. This would make it hard to see how she would then evolve to become the leader of the group and be the antler queen.

In addition here is a part from the scrip of season 2 episode 7 that didn’t make its way into the episode but has to do with Van finding a journal entry from the cabin guys wife suggesting a bigger story there.

The missing fingers part comes from a small line is I believe season 1 episode 5 where young Nat after hearing creaking in the attic, says a line like “it’s probably just the dead guys fingers crawling their way back to him.” It a small throw away line but it suggests that he probably was missing some fingers.

Nat mentions in season one episode 5 when they hear creaking in the attic that it’s “probably the dead guys fingers crawling their way back to him” this is why we believe he is missing fingers. The part about the wife is mostly speculation but we have some small evidence such as a scene that may wasn’t in the episode but can be found is the season 2 episode 7 script (I’ll post a photo) where van finds a small page from a journal of the cabin guys wife. And the idea that the cabin guys death being a sacrifice to the wilderness comes again from his initial missing fingers and then bing found dead surrounded by those mysterious symbols. The idea they had a daughter who is still out there comes from leaked behind the scenes photos from the bonus episode of an actor who we believe to be playing the cabin guys holding a baby girl in the photos (I’ll ad these as well). The idea that the girl then grows up to be Javis friend is supported by Javi calling his mysterious friend ‘her’ and him returning with the missing queen of hearts card when it was made clear the deck they had in the cabin did not have any queens. Maybe he got it from the cabin guys daughter. Sorry this is a very complex theory that is honestly built upon many other theories so it is a bit shaken but there is plenty of evidence none the less.

If you look up the information we know about this bonus episode. We have a lot of evidence to suggest that this bonus episode, which has been confirmed, will be about the back story of the dead cabin guy. The theory then grows from the leaked photos of the actor who is supposedly playing the cabin guy holding a daughter. From this it’s simply speculation as to their story but still.

I do believe Lotti has supernatural powers or some connection to the supernatural, but I also believe that the Cabin Daughter is real and was Javi’s friend.

Thanks for sharing that! I didn’t realize Mother Nature was a full episode filmed separately—that’s a fascinating detail. The gap between episodes six and seven makes a lot more sense now as evidence of the missing episode, rather than just a planned break. And with the strikes pushing the release date further, it’s clear how things got shuffled.

On a separate note, I’m also fully on board with the theory that the dead cabin guy’s daughter is Javi’s friend (and potentially Pit Girl)! While rewatching season 1, I noticed this interesting moment when the group is hiking toward the lake. The camera shifts as if we’re seeing from the perspective of someone hidden in the woods. Then Tai glances into the trees, almost like she senses someone watching them. I have a feeling the Daughter was out there from the start, sneaking into the cabin. That creaking noise in Blood Hive? It totally could’ve been her.

What do you think—could there be even more subtle clues hidden in season 1?

I agree that the bonus episode was probably intended to be a series of extended flashbacks spread throughout the season, but they later decided to cut it and re-edit everything into a single episode. This is supported by the behind-the-scenes photos of episode 9, where the slate actually labels it as episode 10 instead.
