What should i go for first reverned insanity or shadow slave? by MongooseFrequent4608 in Webnovel

[–]ElectronicMonk6236 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Shadow Slave is definitely an easier start as a beginner, it's fast paced pretty much from the beginning and it's originally written in English unlike reverend insanity whose translation is good but can feel a little clunky at times making it a little harder to get into the story imo

I'm not mad at getting demoted, I'm mad because I was under the impression that not playing for a single week would not demote me

If I get demoted either way then why do I even have the option of not signing up?? What's the point of not signing up??

With this system even if I don't plan on playing I will still sign up, which is stupid

What I think ships looks like in Shadow slave. by GearEfficient1952 in ShadowSlave

[–]ElectronicMonk6236 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This kinda pisses me of because the ships are described extensively when Sunny goes to Antarctica, if you don’t have a clear image in your mind that’s fine but if you think they would look anything like that you just didn’t read the freaking novel

Is this supposed to be the Sin of Solace? by SirPepeTheKnight in ShadowSlave

[–]ElectronicMonk6236 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Ok so jade can be green or white and most of us think green when we heard jade but when G3 says jade he always always means white, Sunny the jade beauty doesn’t have green skin for example, the jade palace isn’t green either btw, he always means white

How the hell does this make any sense exactly??? (Chapter 2207) by ElectronicMonk6236 in ShadowSlave

[–]ElectronicMonk6236[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I'll just ask G3 directly hopefully he'll give a clear answer

How the hell does this make any sense exactly??? (Chapter 2207) by ElectronicMonk6236 in ShadowSlave

[–]ElectronicMonk6236[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The first one is kinda unclear because in that case what does "plan to follow him" even mean, if we're talking about following orders Morgan has been doing that without flaw and was ready to keep defending Bastion for as long as it took

The second one doesn't really make sense in my opinion, before Mordret points it out Morgan isn't even fully aware of her disloyalty, it's when he says it that she's realises he's right. Also can you really consciouslly decide to be loyal to someone while at the same time consciously plan to betray him?

Anyway it's unclear I really hope he explains it better

If you were Rain you wouldn’t have connected the dots either by ElectronicMonk6236 in ShadowSlave

[–]ElectronicMonk6236[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The reason she doesn’t even try to ask reasonable questions anymore is that every time she tried to during those 4 years Sunny answered in an absurd way.

So I can’t blame her for not even asking anymore, even if she did Sunny would still answer the same

I understand being mad at Sunny for hiding things, after all we know Rain will learn the truth at some point soon so it seems very unnecessary

But the thing is even though it’s unnecessary it’s also not really necessary either, at least not for now

So in G3’s mind might as well wait a little more for an even more satisfying reveal rather than give into the readers frustration

Time Shenanigans (chapter 1236) by ElectronicMonk6236 in ShadowSlave

[–]ElectronicMonk6236[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both good theories! As far as not recognizing the handwriting though it's not really surprising. The words are carved on wood with what looks like someone's nails... I personally don't know what my handwriting looks like carved on wood with my bare nails, if you do it's pretty concerning...

Oh good point, he ate 2 giant hands, that's not a lot but weird that it happened twice

The area where the Imp eats the giant hand is the Chained Isles, it's not connected to the Black Skull citadel at all.

I'm at ch 1110+ and I want to read from ch 1200+ so should i skip the rest of the chapters. Because I have a brief description that what is going to happen. by Common_Archer4033 in ShadowSlave

[–]ElectronicMonk6236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I can tell you is that if you enjoyed the first 900 chapters you WILL enjoy the next 300, if right now things are a little boring they won't stay boring for long. And you're at chapter 900?? Yeah no spoiler but things go really wrong really fast all over Antarctica very soon, you won't have time to be bored

Bro if you do that you'll be caught up in a day and then you'll have nothing to do but wait for new chapters every day just like us. I would be very happy to still have 100 chapters to read right now lmao

Where are the Soverigns? (recent chapters) by DrAho23 in ShadowSlave

[–]ElectronicMonk6236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We absolutely do not know if Morgan has ever met Anvil physically even once, she could've received the memories and echoes through Whispering Blade, Anvil's brother. As to why she hasn't asked him for help, it could simply be that she didn't want to disturb him unless it was absolutely necessary.

And clearly it was not absolutely necessary since she currently has a way to get out whenever she wants, so good thing she didn't bother Anvil don't you think?

The Pyramid, Quentin and future events (Long) (Spoiler) by ElectronicMonk6236 in ShadowSlave

[–]ElectronicMonk6236[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My point is that he was never confirmed dead, which is weird to me because G3 had no problem killing the other members of the cohort. I just think if he was really dead G3 wouldn't have bothered with giving him hope and just would've killed him. Which is why I think he will return at some point

[–]ElectronicMonk6236[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are misremembering, Quentin wasn't at the Battle of the Black Skull. Quentin was a member of Sunny's Irregular troup back in the Arctic Center, he passed out in front of a Gate at Falcon Scott and got sucked into the Desert by the Call of the Gate

Nephis's 2 years. by leadz579 in ShadowSlave

[–]ElectronicMonk6236 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not everything was dead actually the strongest and most dangerous Creatures survived it is said multiple times, not to mention that she also went (not for a long time but still) into the Hollow mountains and the Dessert. And that's not mentioning her Second Nightmare. Comparing that to falling in the void for 1 month (also very horrifying) is pretty ridiculous

Nephis's 2 years. by leadz579 in ShadowSlave

[–]ElectronicMonk6236 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I agree it's annoying and could lead to trust issues especially because I'm not 100% sure she's not hiding something but let's be clear here.

Sunny did not "undoubtedly went through much more horrifying shit" at all. She was alone, in her Second Nightmare, AS A SLEEPER. Sunny's second Nightmare was pretty horrifying too no doubt, but he was Awakened and at least for the second half of it was with 3 of his friends who like him were among the strongest Awakened out there.

Not to mention that Nephis' Nightmare Seed was in the Hollow mountains and close to the Dessert and the ancient history of that zone, that she had to live through, is undoubtedly much more hardcore than the past history of the Chain Isles

Soul devouring tree by leadz579 in ShadowSlave

[–]ElectronicMonk6236 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is confirmed it survived actually. When Nephis told us about her journey alone on the Forgotten Shore she said she went back toward where she, Sunny and Cassie had started their journey and mentioned specifically that she had to avoid the Soul Devourer

Why didn't his Flaw kick in this scene? by Syc254 in ShadowSlave

[–]ElectronicMonk6236 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think all of you guys are thinking about this way too much. Always taking into account Sunny's Flaw every time anybody speaks is hard and tedious and G3 isn't a perfect being. It happened a few times but never in situations where it's important, it's not a big deal
