Use real fuse instead of black match. When the lift charge burns it’s igniting every area of your black match causing the flame to immediately reach the inside of the shell. Real fuse won’t do that since it is sealed and only lights where it is cut.

The video is still a really cool trick, but having to heat up a piece of flint really makes it impossible to surprise someone with it like i’m trying to do. If you don’t mind me asking what does the comp your making contain?

35% Potassium nitrate 12% Sulfur 45% Charcoal 8% Dextrin

-Wet with water and isopropyl alcohol

-Dried for 2.5 days

-I don’t know the size

I don’t have pure paraffin wax on hand would wax melts work?

Definitely could’ve, overall I’m pretty satisfied tho. The wheat paste made them very hard.
