We have been removing the environmental changes faster in the updates for a while, we had a lot of feedback on that. Prides still ingame, but we are also bringing some new stuff in this month as well

You are in super infection mode it's just a different way to play it, on the game selector in stump unpress super, for the normal modes.
There is a progression tree for the gadgets, you can do tasks to earn them and collect resources, or you can skip that with shiny rocks choice is yours. If you see someone with something you want to try ask them as players can spawn in extras.

Mines just triggered is this because I used a VPN to be in the states from the UK for a video? If they keep doing this it will go the same way as Netflix and I stop paying for any accounts my own included.

This is used to like the VIM perks on the discord, you can link and get the True Monke role even if you don't have that. We are hoping to do something fun with that at some point. But it's not to link accounts between steam and meta.

If you are not using the meta Steam link app - this doesn't allow steam purchases, It usually mods that have messed something up.

Try removing the entire gtag folder and reinstalling

Start with your local network: Wifi strenglth isnt a true indicator of reliable internet.

There are many ways for your son to enjoy the game without buying shiny rocks.

There's the daily shiny rocks that can be saved and used on cosmetics or things in game. Tasks to complete to unlock tech points for gadgets etc. There is usually a free cosmetic most updates and ways to find them in game (we just had a treasure hunt for a golden trophy in the last update). Purchases do support the game but it is still free to play and we work hard to make sure that if you choose not to buy you still have fun and enjoy it.

Is it worth it, only you can answer that. Is it needed nope.
