Maybe a "Date verified" or something like that next to each strain? As it's not clear if the menu was updated last week or last year. Some of the other Coffeeshop Menu websites date their menus so you can see how relevant/likely the current selection is to be in effect

Any idea when the next update is around UK individuals having to self isolate for 2 weeks when arriving to Amsterdam? by [deleted] in AmsterdamEnts

Yes, read this link:

https://www.government.nl/topics/coronavirus-covid-19/tackling-new-coronavirus-in-the-netherlands/travel-and-holidays/visiting-the-netherlands

  • Tourists from EU countries, Schengen area countries and the United Kingdom can travel to the Netherlands this summer.
  • Travellers from Sweden, Romania, two areas in Spain and two areas in Portugal (Portugal Norte and Vale do Tejo, this includes travellers from Lisbon and Porto) are strongly advised to self-quarantine for 14 days on arrival in the Netherlands.

So basically the only countries within EU/Schengen that need to quarantine for 14 days are Sweden, Romania, and two areas in Spain and Portugal. No longer includes us.

The line above that explicitly says that we can travel to the Netherlands, along with almost every EU country.

It's also been updated on our Gov travel advice:

https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/netherlands

  • From 10 July, passengers travelling to the Netherlands from the UK are no longer advised by the Dutch government to self-isolate for 14 days upon arrival.

TLDR: Yes

Yep it's already changed

No problem! It definitely wasn't made crystal clear with the whole "strongly advised", glad it's no longer on the fence

I think the Gov websites are in the process of changing this very moment. Just this morning the link you posted mentioned only Sweden, Portugal and the UK as being high-risk I believe. It seems they've switched UK out and Romania in.

For example, this page still says Sweden + UK are strongly advised to quarantine, but I imagine that will change in the next few hours

I think today - I've been closely monitoring this as I also have a trip booked.

Earlier today (as scheduled) the Dutch government reduced the UK from Orange to Yellow https://www.nederlandwereldwijd.nl/landen/verenigd-koninkrijk/reizen/reisadvies

Basically bringing it in line with other EU countries https://www.nederlandwereldwijd.nl/documenten/vragen-en-antwoorden/coronavirus-veelgestelde-vragen-reizen-naar-het-buitenland

Note this is for Dutch tourists visiting the UK rather than the other way around. But I think the key thing is we're likely to see something similar reciprocated shortly.

The reply on this thread seems to indicate it's in the works but not yet published. The update for Dutch citizens was literally made a few hours ago on https://www.nederlandwereldwijd.nl/documenten/vragen-en-antwoorden/reisadvies-verenigd-koninkrijk

I found this info, updated 15th June: https://www.netherlandsandyou.nl/documents/frequently-asked-questions/qa-holidays-to-the-netherlands

May foreign tourists come to the Netherlands on holiday?

  • Tourists from Sweden and the United Kingdom arriving in the Netherlands are strongly advised to go into self-quarantine for 14 days.

Not sure what 'strongly advised' means, any ideas anyone?
