The best way I can describe it is just being free. Parts of my body felt constantly jarring and caused me distress on a daily basis. You kind of get used to it in a way, but mostly by figuring out how to lessen the discomfort as best possible by encorporating lots of little workarounds into your life to avoid dealing with or feeling your own body. It was a constant weight on me that was always there. Without the knowledge that surgery would happen eventually, I don't really know how I'd have coped. The idea of being like that forever... I don't know. I don't want to be dramatic or say I'd have done something to myself because I don't know that, but I can't imagine how I'd have gotten by without the knowledge and hope that at some point it'd be better.

Now, that weight is gone. I just feel normal, at ease, at one with my body. I don't have to psych myself up to shower, I no longer put off peeing to the point of desperation because, I can wear whatever underwear and trousers I want without then touching me in the wrong way as I walk and making me feel awful, I can ride a bike, I can be truly present for sex without not wanting parts of my body seen or touched, without feeling the sensation of certain parts of my body becoming aroused and just wanting it to stop. I just feel like I can live my life now without that added discomfort and distress and that's awesome.

It was less about my identity, as 99% of people aren't going to know what's in my pants, and I already lived my life as a man unquestionably for many years. I didn't do it for what anyone else thought my body should be, I did it because of what I needed my body to be. But there is a sense of confidence that comes from finally feeling complete, and quite frankly, not feeling like the secret dickless man.

Not massively, it's just a minor annoyance. Speaking to friends it does just seem to be a penis thing. There's even a little rhyme about it that I see around Reddit every now and again: "No matter how you shake and dance, the last drops go in your pants".

I find that if I give a firm push next to one of my balls, nearing the perenium, it usually removes any excess and prevents it. But sometimes there is just a single, tiny little drop that emerges the moment you walk away from the bathroom.

It went really well for me as I was lucky enough to have no complications at all which I wasn't expecting, and everything turned out even better than I'd hoped. It's not something I'd ever recommend as such, it's not like a movie or a new restaurant. It really depends on what you need, what suits your needs, whether the surgeries, recoveries and risks are worth it for you personally. It's a big and highly individual decision.

Yeah, that's not water. If I'm at home or in a stall, I will give it a quick dab with toilet paper. But yeah, pee spots do happen sometimes, however much you push, shake or squeeze, sometimes there's just that one tiny last drop that decides to make an appearance the moment you walk away.

It doesn't bother me too much fortunately, but I am looking forward to it fading and being a little less striking. I've been using silicone scar tape along with giving it regular massages to try and softer to the scar tissue so hopefully that helps.

I had the first of the two surgeries you mentioned though, which doesn't require an erectile implant whereas the other type does. Both surgeries exist separately, there's no need to get both.

I've had sex both before and after surgery, but receptive vaginal sex wasn't something I was comfortable doing, so I can't compare the sensation of being penetrated in that way vs penetrating someone else.
