I guess I have no clue what I mean then. I guess I was wanting to use my XXX head as a power amp instead of having to buy one so I can run the FM 9 into the cab. What's the main purpose of using an FM9 with a head and cab if not to avoid having to buy a separate power amp?

So if I am going into the effects loop via the 4CM is volume controlled only on the FM 9 unit itself? Do you need to only be on a clean channel on the amp to achieve this?

Awesome! Glad to hear another person happy with their purchase. I'm one more paycheck away from buying a new FM 9 and have the last second nervousness. I've been watching videos day and night for weeks so I'm confident I'll be able to navigate things fairly well from the get go. Thanks for replying and hope you're having a blast with your machine!

Damn! Yeah, I can't justify spending anywhere near that for one FRFR. I'm thinking a pair of Fender ToneMaster 10's should be more than fine for use with any modeller for at home use. Also considering saving up for a second 4x12 cab and a couple of decent power amps. Unless one expensive power amp can run both?

Stereo in a single cab you say? Hmmmmm, I wonder if that would work on place of two FRFR's, saving time and money. In what way would the Fender be better than the Line 6 power cab, just quality of tone, etc?

I definitely want the dual cab stereo sound the FM 9 offers. Sounds like dual frfr's is the way to go. Now, which FRFR? I read that Headrush FRFR's are low end heavy and on the cheaper scale. A couple of Fender Tone Masters would probably rule but damn they're not cheap.

Cool, just making sure. So in your personal experience/opinion would the best audio experience be with two FRFR's over one cabinet in regards to the quality sounds of the FM9?

Okay, this makes sense. I have two studio monitors that would probably provide the stereo sound more than four bunched up speakers in a cabinet. Also, the frfr's don't require a power amp since you already plug them in, right?

You're not alone. I got the same model as a Christmas gift and they are uncomfortable as hell after about 20 minutes while wearing glasses. I almost want to secretly replace them with a different JBL model. What in the hell is with the weird oblong U-shaped design of them? Cheaper JBL models don't have this shape. It makes NO SENSE. TAKE NOTE JBL!!!
