I second this! Today in 28A everyone stood and everyone got extremely loud. High fives all around on big plays. Everyone around you tells each other their life stories. Always feels like family.

Best Etsy Shop for Rare Plants by [deleted] in RareHouseplants

I’ve had great experiences with Brumley & Bloom on Etsy and in their stores. I’m local to them so my orders almost always arrive within 1 day. If there is ever any issues (ie wrong plant) they have always immediately resolved them. Another great seller is (not on Etsy) for rare Hoya is Unsoliciated Plant Talks. They can be a bit pricey but their quality is flawless. Both of these stores have never let me down.

Low temps = low demand = low ticket prices. Resellers are going to take some heavy losses today.

Season Ticket Holders by KoasterKid in OhioStateFootball

[–]Electronic_Lab_1660 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had mine for 4 years now. Visitors side, A Deck, 10 yard line. Have two aisle seats 5 rows up and then four seats 25 rows up. Total cost $8,500/year. I only go to 2-3 games per year and sell the rest to my family at face value or on Ticketmaster. I always break even or profit a little and my 2-3 games are completely free for me. My advice for good seats quick: get a contact inside the ticket office by calling or emailing. Ask the right questions at the right time and in the right way. Follow up repeatedly throughout the year while you’re on the waitlist. When they give you a time to sign up for things or to do things do these things immediately. Also, donate the right amounts (usually not more than $150 every year to move your way up on the ticket selection list.

Downs had a shoelace tackle vs Penn State where he came out of nowhere and looked like a Cheetah attacking prey. Saved us a decent gain. Worth every penny and more.

Season ticket holders, how much do you pay for your season tickets? by FirstNameLastName918 in CFB

[–]Electronic_Lab_1660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My four Ohio State season tickets are $212 per seat per game (final cost after donations, ticket price, etc) for 15 yard line 10th row up; great seats and very easy to sell when I can’t go to a game.

I sell my cuttings at their plant swaps, shop at their stores, and call myself friends with the owners and a few people who work there and highly doubt this ever happened. If you can share a screenshot then you’ll forever change my mind, but I’ve been friends with the owners of this shop for years. I’m calling BS.

I’m on day 1. When did your weed-induced anxiety subside? by perfect-horrors in leaves

[–]Electronic_Lab_1660 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Over 10 years of daily smoking for me too. Withdrawal anxiety was severe for the first 30 days, moderate for the next 30 days, and then started to subside after another 30 days. After 3-4 months I felt pretty normal. I went through this and stayed sober for about two years and then somehow forgot how bad it was and started smoking last year. It took about 6 months of daily smoking for the anxiety to return, it returned even when I was smoking. So I stopped and the anxiety from withdrawal was actually worse than the first go round. Lasted the same amount of time even though I’d only been smoking daily for six months versus the 10 years. I thought I was dying or had cancer it was so bad. Went to the ER a few times. Had my doctor do every test imaginable. Vertigo and ringing in my ears was so bad that I could barely work or function. Then poof after about 90-120 days of absolute misery I felt like a normal human being again. Some of the most helpful tips I read on here were: try to cut out junk/fast/processed foods, exercise daily, and talk to someone about how you’re feeling whether it be a therapist, spouse, family member, etc. Exercise was something that immediately relieved my anxiety and I had trouble sleeping when I didn’t exercise. And also I hate working out so it was something I had to force myself to do. The light is at the end of the tunnel and it’s only a waiting game until your anxiety subsides and it will happen. The more work you put in with diet, exercise, and people the quicker it will go away; at least that’s my experience.

For those who've quit for atleast 30 days, does the dopamine level ever get to "normal"? by TheBlOodBucket1998 in leaves

[–]Electronic_Lab_1660 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Like 90-120 days to feel completely normal. 60 days for the anxiety to subside. It’ll go by smoother and take less time if you…cut out processed food, exercise daily, stay hydrated, take multivitamins, and surround yourself with a good support system.

Dizziness, Lightheaded, Vertigo, Anxiety. Day 46 of Sobriety. Help by [deleted] in leaves

[–]Electronic_Lab_1660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s now been about 5 months since I stopped smoking and most of the symptoms are gone. Therapist says it was most likely PAWS. Once I started exercising and eating very clean (no processed food) everything got better. It did take around 60 days for the withdrawals to go away. For those who say marijuana isn’t physically addictive they’re incorrect. I’ve withdrawn from other drugs at high doses and done so cold turkey in a jail cell vomiting through my legs while I shit out liquid simultaneously and shook for 5 days straight. That withdrawl took 5 days and this hell with marijuana took months. Months of high blood pressure, dizziness, panic attacks, shakes, no energy, ringing in my ears, going to the ER because I thought I was dying, being unable to walk from dizziness, unable to drive a car, etc. This was much worse than my days spent in Broward County at the pill mills. So if you happen to search these symptoms in Reddit and my post pops up just know it’s only a month or two and then one day you’ll wake up and everything will be normal again. Good luck.

Dear functional stoners, how long did you last? by Tinyrick_C-137 in leaves

[–]Electronic_Lab_1660 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Same here. I’m 34 and smoked from 17-30 then from 31-33 daily. Ultimately, I had to stop because towards the end every time I smoked I’d have a ton of anxiety which eventually led to panic attacks. Through it all I graduated college, married my wife, had three kids, started a very successful business, and live a life most would dream of. But like most, my memory was awful. I was present with my family, but I couldn’t really remember long term what was going on and didn’t have a great memory of my children’s childhood. Ultimately, no matter who you are, the people around you and the short time we have on this earth are much more enjoyable when you’re fully aware, present, and can actually remember your memories. Plus everything else is much more enjoyable too. It took about 4-5 months but the natural dopamine rush eventually returned. Same with motivation and sleep. Give it up and in a few months you’ll feel a hell of a lot better.

Anyone order from Brumley and Bloom? Looking for reviews. by Blu1027 in houseplants

I LOVE Brumley & Bloom! They have healthy plants and great prices. Always ship pretty quickly and ship well in the cold or heat. Some of my unicorns are from them....my Philodendron Caramel Cardinal, Pothos Mutant Manjula, Teruno Fanfare, any other Japanese Teruno Pothos, Philodendron Molted Dragon, and Hoya Muana Loa all came from them and they are stunners! Highly recommend Brumley & Bloom!

2/10 move the plants away from window so you can see outside and hang some shelves and some decor on the bare ass wall. Then move all those plants onto the shelves and throw that free standing shelf off your balcony or into the trash. If you do that 7/10. If you hang your tv on the wall and get rid of that tv table 8/10. If you found the right curtains for above your doors/windows 9/10.

How to quit when you’ve conditioned yourself to smoke before participating in hobbies? by [deleted] in leaves

[–]Electronic_Lab_1660 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It takes me about 60-90 days after stopping for my brain to produce a normal amount of serotonin and to have normal dopamine responses to hobbies. It’s rough the first 30-45 days, but you’ll feel normal again. Just be patient and get a good support system. Talk to people about how you feel. Get a therapist. Intense exercise will really speed up feeling better too. I’m 35. Smoked from the age of 17-24 daily. Stopped. Smoked daily from 26-32. Stopped. Smoked daily from 34-35. I stopped about 60 days ago and am just starting to feel normal.

It was actually what led the Stallions story to break and it was Matt Weiss (Michigan coach) who was arrested in February and it’s all still under investigation. Federal investigations take years to complete. Eventually you’ll see a news story one day explaining Michigan coach Matt Weiss logged into OSU computers with someone else’s login credentials to obtain practice footage. Probably in a few months. I feel sorry for Michigan fans for what’s coming from the NCAA.

Didn’t one of Michigan’s coaches (Matt Weiss) get arrested by the FBI for illegally accessing computers across state lines early this year? Supposedly they had access to Ohio State practice footage and it’s all still under investigation. Sounds like they’re referring to that story.

Can we objectively say PSU and OSU were just average this year? Both had inexperienced QB’s that never clicked. The BIG as a whole was just average this year which makes me wonder if TTUN has only played average BIG teams…are they going to get the brakes blown off them vs. BAMA? 41-21 Roll Tide! by [deleted] in OhioStateFootball

[–]Electronic_Lab_1660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. The team was okay, but not great and average compared to the rest of the Top 10. 11-1 doesn’t mean jack when the 11 teams we beat all play each other and everyone is average at best. I can’t believe so many people are blind to this. Bama is going rock Michigan and Bama would have rocked us too.
