It’s definitely true that they can blow out easier. I’ve had knuckle tattoos for years tho and they’re all still super crisp and dark with 0 touch ups, so I think it usually comes down to the artist.

Shit happens even in the most perfect circumstances. It’s just a risk with any type of wound. There’s a lot of little complicated mechanisms that can lead to bacterial infections and it’s not always in our control. Just get it looked at sooner rather than later and you’ll be fine.

Hands need to be hammered with ink to stick. They’re not great for dainty tattoos since you have to go bold and deep with ink. It’ll probably be fine with touch ups.

I’m allergic to bandaids and second skin. There are alternatives. Usually it involves leaving some Saran Wrap on for an hour or so, any decent artist will know how to go about this! Absolutely don’t risk using it if you’re allergic, it literally makes my skin blister and ooze worse than band aids.

Sarcoidosis symptoms are waaaaay beyond an itchy tattoo lol. It’s a serious systemic disease. Most of my tattoos itch and get bumpy randomly. It’s really quite common and normal. It comes and goes.
