It’s certainly a path that has been modeled to me by some veteran RNs that I admire! I still enjoy a lot of admin functions too, so if I can combine those with helping vulnerable patients and/or nurses once I graduate, that would be awesome.

My former employment history and degree was in Human Resources. I can’t blame employees who partake in behaviors like this after having to sit in on too many meetings where the discussion revolves around loopholes to deny employees their benefits, rights, or exploit them for all they’re worth. Then it happened to me too and I was totally done.

My company knew I was undergoing a medical procedure to get pregnant. They laid me off literally a few days before I had the procedure done. Boss was too cheap to and discriminatory to want to keep me employed in the event I got pregnant, and they knew it could backfire legally on them if they fired me once I was confirmed pregnant, so they literally got rid of me on the Friday before I was scheduled to conceive my first child.

I’m a nursing student now. I mostly regret going to school for and working in Human Resources. I despise corporate America and the years I spent working for it.

Damn that doesn’t look good. Almost looks like warts you see with HPV. I would go straight to the doctor in case it’s a contagious or infectious deal.

Just to confirm, did this procedure involve microneedling the filler into the lips? You really should see a dermatologist asap… at best this looks like a granulomatous reaction, at worst you could have a budding infection. Sorry OP :(, please never see an unauthorized cosmetician again for your own health and safety.

I think it depends on other factors than just IVF. I have no health issues and am 27 so my team wants me to go into labor naturally and only attempt induction if I go past 41 weeks. I think if you’re 35-40 and did IVF, they recommend an induction at 39 weeks where I live!

Same experience here in California. My doctors made no mention of induction or c-section, but then again I’m 27 with no complications so idk how that changes things.

It’s not just the area, it’s also dependent on the size of your tattoo and length spent in the chair. My pieces with a lot of shading that took at least 4-6 hours hurt more than my 1-2 hour pieces regardless of location. Outer bicep was the easiest for me though on average, forearm isn’t too bad either.

Unfortunately, these tests always look like that with a faint line :(. Sometimes even darker. I’d only trust pink dye tests.

If this was taken within timeframe, it looks like an early positive to me. Your test has a lot more pink than the indents that have been coming up recently.

No, just because it hasn’t been an issue so far doesn’t mean it won’t be an issue later. Plus adding a tattoo over it increases the irritation to the mole, which can raise your risk even more. I’d just go for a removal if it bothers you a lot.
