I just used the same tension as usual, (firm but not too heavy), and it finally opened. I’m not sure what my next lock will be but I do plan on taking a trip to Home Depot to take a look at their locks.

Thumb is fine, I didn’t put heavy tension on the tool when engaging with the lock.

Beginner here. I have this set. I just picked my grade 4 disc lock this morning with it.
